We've been asked by comparethemarket.com to find out about who Mumsnetters' ideal celebrity cinema buddy is.

So, if you could buddy up on a trip to the cinema with any celebrity or historical figure, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

It would have to be James Corden if the films no good he can just make me laugh.

Russell Brand.. I am slightly in Love with him & I think it would be hilarious!

Sandra Bullock as I'd bet she'd be a right giggle throughout, and would probably throw popcorn at people in front too :-s

He had enough good manners to know not to chat through the bloody film and if we were sitting in the dark he wouldn't see the unhinged mooning faces that I couldn't help but make at him. sigh
