We've been asked by comparethemarket.com to find out about who Mumsnetters' ideal celebrity cinema buddy is.

I'd love to watch a comedy with Ant and Dec.

Helena Bonham Carter because she seems like a great laugh and she's quirky too!

I'd love to snuggle up on the back row with Aidan Turner, I wouldn't care a hoot what was showing on screen lol

Maybe not the hugest celebrity but I'd love to take Kitty Hope from the TV show Sweets Made Simple because she seems fun and would hopefully come armed with lots to snack on!

Peter Ustinov - he was such a great raconteur.

Mr Bean...the episode where he goes to the cinema with his girlfriend is so funny, I would have the best time!

Charlie Chaplin. He was such a consummated creator, such refined taste and vision. I'd loved to discuss a film with him.

Rob Brydon -Very funny man and i love his impressions

Will Ferrell as he's so hilarious even if the film was bad I know I'd have a great time!

Orlando Bloom - IIRC he hates watching himself so I would be able to make out with him instead of watching his movie hehe

Claudia Winkleman because she strictly is the ideal companion for a girly night out at the cinema

Ronnie Corbett - he could sit in front and I'd be guaranteed a perfect view ~

Fritz Lang. I can just imagine how amazed he would be by the changes in movie making since he ruled as the world's best director

Alan Rickman - and I wouldn't complain about him whispering or even talking at full volume to me, all the way through.

Paul Merton as he would make funny comments!

Johnny Vegas- he's so funny and a great guy.
