Netflix are excited to bring you Bloodline, a brand new Netflix original series, from Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman, Glenn Kessler – the creators of the acclaimed show Damages.

Bloodline is a dramatic thriller that explores the demons lurking beneath the surface of a contemporary American family. The Rayburns are hard-working pillars of their Florida Keys community. But when the black sheep son comes home for the 45th anniversary of his parents' hotel, he threatens to expose the Rayburns' dark secrets and shameful past, pushing his siblings to the limits of family loyalty.

The series stars Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights), Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises), Linda Cardellini (Mad Men) and Norbert Leo Butz as the Rayburn siblings, and the iconic actress Sissy Spacek as the Rayburn matriarch.

The whole of season one is now available on Netflix so feel free to binge watch as much as you like Grin. Wherever you are up to in the show we’d like you to pop on and off this thread to discuss the series and share with us what your thoughts are! Everyone who takes part in the discussion will be entered into a prize draw to win an iPad Air 2 and a 6 month subscription to Netflix!

I don't have Netflix yet, but the show sounds very interesting. I will have to look into getting Netflix soon as there are so many good series on there that I've missed that I would love to watch.

hannahlw85 · 10/04/2015 07:11

I don't have Netflix but wish I did as this series look a great and I need a new one now that The Walking Dead had finished until October. Love a good programme that gets me hooked and wanting to be able to binge watch it.

fluffyblueberry · 10/04/2015 08:19

This looks brilliant - I'm really behind on series at the moment, still watching sons of anarchy and the americans - which I love - but as soon as they are finished, I will watch this!!!! I just love watching series, there are such good ones around and it would be fab to start something new.

Wow! Have just read the synopsis and watched a trailer for this. I think the Breaking Bad shaped hole in my life has just been filled. Oh dear- less time for housework again, never mind! Netflix has some awesome stuff on from Breaking Bad, Orange is the new black etc so I'm expecting this to be just as engrossing. Perfect timimg to watch- on the sofa scoffing Easter Eggs!

lickulmiss · 10/04/2015 09:29

nanoobaku · 10/04/2015 16:02

watched the trailer and looks good, I wait for a good friend who has Netflix to give the opinion and if it the thumbs up may be tempted to subscribe to Netflix

linheiner · 10/04/2015 16:20

This looks good. I might give it a go - I'm not really a binge watcher - I prefer one episode at a time!

candish63 · 10/04/2015 21:09

I've never seen it but I will give it a go.

VictoriaSt · 10/04/2015 21:42

chunkychocky · 10/04/2015 22:38

TheOldWiseOne · 11/04/2015 00:01

watched it all - set in the Keys in Florida - yes, it's a good family yarn with twists and turns ! Recommend it.

CookieDoughKid · 11/04/2015 10:12

Finished the 1st series. Absolutely loved it.

Maniacalparrot · 11/04/2015 11:07

Oooooh just started, seems great !

Flickstar · 12/04/2015 09:14

Watched the first one last night- Desperate for the kids go to bed tonight so I can watch more!

sushierolls · 12/04/2015 22:07

Instantly, the scenery of the trailer caught my eye, however, it resembles the US programme Revenge, which is one of my favourite shows. I'll have to watch a couple of episodes to have a solid view on it though because based on the trailer it doesn't look that outstanding

Sukistaxi · 13/04/2015 19:31

really liked Damages. always on look out for some binge watching so will definitely check it out

Princessxo · 13/04/2015 21:04

I actually read about this series on a forum that I'm on. A couple of people mentioned watching the first few episodes and how they couldn't sleep as it was so good so I thought I'd see if it deserved it's amazing reviews. I have to say it kept me off the edge of my seat and really was hard to stop watching.

CherryAmes · 15/04/2015 02:36

Thought this looked good but watched the first episode and then sought out some spoilers because I wasn't sure and I don't think it's for me I'm afraid. Won't say why as would probably give too much away. However it does look beautifully shot and well acted.

I've been binge watching The Good Wife recently and have now started watching Outlander elsewhere while I look forward to season 3 of Orange is the New Black. Netflix did predict that I would really like Bloodline though so maybe I will end up giving it another go when I've finished those.

I've watched a few episodes of this and although I am enjoying the acting (in particular Aussie Ben Mendohlson), it's a little too close to home after my father recently passed away from a stroke (and my brothers were spectacularly crap at helping with anything).

I might pick it up again in six months when I can really get engrossed in it.

Yorkstone · 15/04/2015 23:03

Watched episode 2 & 3 and the web of family secrets increases. Definite gripper than appears to be getting better by the episode!

ninnytendo · 16/04/2015 12:18

The trailer looks very intriguing so I will have to watch the first episode and see what it’s like….
