To celebrate their mini pots of rice pudding and custard, which hit the shelves earlier this year and are specially developed for children*, we have been asked by the team at Ambrosia to find out from you what tastes make you happy! We all know some flavours and food are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face - or to your childs', or may even remind you of a special meal or occasion.

Ambrosia say: "we think that Ambrosia my mini pots taste like happy! They are a great way to mix up a mundane lunchbox, and as they are easy to pop in a handbag, are always there for when hunger strikes. And a happy child, means a happy mum/dad. What does happy taste like to you?"

The Ambrosia mini pots range is specially developed for children* and contains calcium and vitamin D, which are needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. They contain no preservatives or artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners, but are full of dairy goodness. They have a long life and don't need to be chilled, so they are perfect for stocking up on reserve and for use out and about too. For all ingredients please see here

Each pack of 6 has a recommended retail price of £1.49.

Please share your happy tastes and flavours on this thread - or those of your DC - no later than 28th November 2014 - and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 Amazon voucher and a selection of Ambrosia Goodies**.

Please note, your comments may be included on Ambrosia's social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Thanks and good luck

At the minute it's ambrosia custard, chilled straight from the fridge. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and it's my craving!

FrontForward · 19/11/2014 21:21

Hot tea and millionaires shortbread. I need the hot tea with it. DD loves chocolate

BigfootFilesHisToesInYourTea · 19/11/2014 21:33

Dd loves strawberry. My favourite flavours are banana, coffee, chocolate, salted caramel and pistachio.

ScrambledEggAndToast · 20/11/2014 10:10

My bacon sandwich is the bee's knees. I make it with toasted seeded bread, lurpack butter and really thin, crispy smoky bacon. No sauce, that would ruin it's loveliness. My mouth is literally watering thinking about it.

As for sweet things, Poundland sell those chocolate snowballs and they are amazing straight out of the fridge.

purplepowers · 20/11/2014 10:38

In the winter it has to be apple and cinnamon crumble with Ambrosia Custard or a cup of mulled wine.

In summer the smell of barbequed lamb kebabs and sausages and strawberries with chocolate fondue - yum!

ShatnersBassoon · 20/11/2014 12:15

The love of a decent cup of tea has been passed on to the next generation, I'm glad to say. Nothing better than getting back from a long day out, all sit down and enjoy a chorus of 'Aaaah!' after the first sip of tea.

ButterflyOfFreedom · 20/11/2014 16:11

Chocolate is always a winner!

Also:
DH: chocolate ice-cream
Me: mango creme brulee (only had it once at a restaurant but it was divine!)
DS: blueberry
DD: milk!

sharond101 · 20/11/2014 18:05

I'm quite excited about these as lunchboxes are getting a bit boring and my kids love bananas and custard. So that's our happy tastes...I'll put a mini custard pot in my son's lunchbox and a banana and he'll be incredibly happy!
