To celebrate the launch of the new Vodafone family price plan (Red+) and that this Christmas you can also enjoy a 3 month NOW TV Sky Movies with Red 4G Vodafone want to know what your fail safe film is for travelling with children!

Vodafone say "We all know those long journeys with children, especially at christmas time when they are even more excited, can feel a bit endless. These days, technology makes this a bit easier! With a 3 month NOW TV Sky Movies Pass from Vodafone, you can select a film to help pass the time for children".

Vodafone has also launched a new plan, designed specifically for families. Red+ gives you one data allowance to share and you can even cap your kids’ data so they don't go over their limit. You'll get one simple bill for all devices, saving you money compared to individual plans, and you'll also get unlimited calls and texts.

The Vodafone Digital Parenting Guide can be found here: www.vodafone.co.uk/family

So whether your children climb over seats to catch yet another screening of Frozen, or have a secret sob to Toy Story 3, please share the film you can be quietly confident will give you some peace on the journey and keep the kids occupied.

Add your comment to this thread and you’ll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £250 Hamleys voucher (can be used online and in the stores)

Please note your comments may be used by Vodafone or MN on Vodafone pages, social media or possibly elsewhere - please only add a comment if you're happy for it to be used.

Thanks and good luck

We are all happy to watch Cars over and over.

empire11 · 14/11/2014 16:14

My daughter loves Frozen and will sing along to it all the way through.

Tanukisan · 14/11/2014 18:05

We don't have a car, but for long haul flights it's got to be The Snowman!

liz1970 · 14/11/2014 20:07

Chitty Chitty bang bang!

vixxx666 · 14/11/2014 20:39

My boys love I-Spy out of the window. But if the weather is dull or rainy they like to watch Mickey Mouse Once Upon A Christmas!

andy07 · 14/11/2014 20:42

beckyinman · 14/11/2014 23:10

Pack lots of activities and put one in the front and one in the back and switch half way to avoid arguments

Mummygadgetgeek · 14/11/2014 23:33

Ours are a bit obsessed with Arthur Christmas - I have to say I quite like watching it too. Luckily OH is normally the one driving so I'd get to sneak a peek at it with them :)

imalostcause · 15/11/2014 00:48

Always, always, always The Polar Express Smile

mumtowoo1 · 15/11/2014 06:47

Muppet Christmas Carol will always keep my two entertained.

Marg2k8 · 15/11/2014 07:50

I have never played films in the car. My kids are older now, but when they were younger, we used to play games instead, involving looking out of the window to spot things.

ncsmummy · 15/11/2014 07:55

we dont watch films in the car but if we did then at christmas it would definitely be Elf - they both love it!

MrsPiddlewink · 15/11/2014 08:44

We have a 5 hour journey up to Grandparents over the festive period.... I spy and word association games just don't cut it - especially for our 3 year old! They have a tablet and headphones each. 3 year old - Frozen, everytime! Although he just watches the 'Let it go' bit over and over Hmm. DS2 (5) - Cat in the Hat. DS1(8) - one of the Wimpy Kids/Harry Potter. Festive favourites - The Gruffalo and Arthur Christmas. They'd watch those together.

moonray · 15/11/2014 09:04

Strange enough an old favourite of mine does the trick: The Never Ending Story :-D

annanh · 15/11/2014 09:28

I only allow story tapes!

26jibby · 15/11/2014 10:35

Frozen will be the one this year

retroquirk · 15/11/2014 10:53

It has to be Elf, so funny and I can watch it too without wanting to put headphones into some annoying songs etc.

Scungybear · 15/11/2014 11:25

We never watched films in the car, but when the kids were younger we used to play spot it games where you have to see a list of things out of the window. Now they,re teenagers they,re all plugged into their separate devices.
