Netflix would like to know what your favourite Netflix TV show is and why.

With so many great series available to choose from on Netflix, fans often find it’s hard to pick a favourite. From hit US dramas like The Good Wife, to hilarious comedies such as Fresh Meat and Suits, and cult shows like Sons of Anarchy, they feel sure there's something for everyone to discover and enjoy.

Members also have exclusive access to Netflix’s original series, including the fourth and final season of the dark detective drama The Killing, as well as Lilyhammer, a fish-out-water tale about a New York mobster living in Norway.

So, what is your favourite TV Show to watch on Netflix? Do the endless twists and turns of Homeland keep you on the edge of your seat? Do you scare yourself silly with the supernatural thriller American Horror Story? Maybe you like to put your analytical skills to the test with quirky hospital drama House? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear about it - and why you keep going back for more!

Check out the Netflix hub on Mumsnet to find out what TV series are currently available and coming up on Netflix.

Everyone who leaves their comment on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

Breaking Bad - I love it! I would like to see a better choice of films though.....

Maiyakat · 09/11/2014 20:08

I don't have Netflix, but would love to watch Orange Is The New Black having read the book

nannynick · 09/11/2014 20:18

Loved The Killing (US version) it kept me wanting to watch the next episode straight away. Alas have got to the end, so was looking around for something else to watch and House M.D. is now available, some episodes I have seen over the past 9-10 years, so it is great now to be able to watch it all from the beginning.

UnfortunateUsername · 09/11/2014 21:16

Definitely Firefly. Arguably the best TV show ever made.

milliemoon · 09/11/2014 21:43

Buffy. Just love it! They don't make TV like it anymore

SolomanDaisy · 09/11/2014 21:49

House of Cards is amazing. It's such a good adaptation of the original, I like the way both the setting and the TV series itself have been Americanised. Can't wait for the next series!

annanh · 09/11/2014 21:50

House of Cards - it is so gripping. I worry how many of the characters are reflections of real people though.

MyFirstMyLastMyEverythingBagel · 09/11/2014 21:51

Well after reading this thread ... breaking bad it will be

Hopezibah · 09/11/2014 22:12

Has to be The Office and Fawlty Towers! That would give me a giggle and brighten up these chilly autumn days. From the current list on the mumsnet netflix hub it would be homeland.

DorothyBastard · 09/11/2014 22:28

Absolutely loved Breaking Bad, best series I've ever seen. Fantastic characters, acting, inventive and pacy storylines and just all round excellent.

VivaLeBeaver · 09/11/2014 22:34

I love House of Cards. Nice to have such a well written, twisted series. Gripping stuff.

EskSmith · 09/11/2014 22:53

Really enjoying lilyhammer, half way through S2 and looking forward to the release of s3. We've also watched all of Fawlty towers recently and were working our way through Blackadder until it disappeared.

Dh has liked revisiting Alan partridge and discovering loads of obscure surfing/snowboarding doumentaries.

Finally I really really enjoyed the village at the end of the world.

HangingInAGruffaloStance · 09/11/2014 23:03

Lilyhammer is hilarious. Keep meaning to want Breaking Bad, but I am worried it could take over my life..

NameChange30 · 09/11/2014 23:09

Orange Is The New Black. Finally a TV series with a diverse range of brilliant female characters! It's dramatic, it's human, it's based on a true story. Bonus: the theme song is awesome (I love Regina Spektor!) And it's a Netflix series. That's why I think it should win over other brilliant TV series like Breaking Bad.

DearKitty · 10/11/2014 06:48

House of Cards!

RunByFruiting · 10/11/2014 06:58

I'm impressed with the selection on Netflix (& looking forward to things like the Lemony Snicket series) but no matter how high brow I like to think my tastes are, all 6 seasons of Ru Paul's Drag Race in one place is pretty hard to top!

Brilliant being able to see how the show (& the contestants) has changed over the years but Ru Paul looks just as young in season 6 as season 1. Lucky bitch.

Tyranasaurus · 10/11/2014 07:28

Breaking Bad

del2929 · 10/11/2014 08:43

breaking bad! yaaay!

raydown · 10/11/2014 08:47

I love House of Cards, Orange is the new black and Top of the Lake.

Sarahseabury · 10/11/2014 13:03

I've been watching House. I watched it when it originally started but got lost off quite early on with other things. It's been great to go back and watch now.

moomoo1967 · 10/11/2014 13:41

IMO you cannot beat re-runs of Friends, or SATC. Although I have just realised that Little House on the Prairie is available Grin

Vole3 · 10/11/2014 18:28

Orange is the new black - watched both seasons inside a week. Now drought until season 3 next year :(

DS loves Turbo cartoon

wilbur · 10/11/2014 18:30

We have just got into House of Cards - blimey, it's good. On ep 11 of series one and loving it. It's like the anti-West Wing (of which I was a huge fan too).

HootThenStop · 10/11/2014 18:33

Silk, and The Killing, followed by many, many others....

The ten second gap between shows has been my downfall many a time....

Starlingsintheslipstream · 10/11/2014 18:34

Modern Family is my absolute favourite. So cleverly written. Also love Gavin and Stacey. Netflix is worth it for these alone.
