Netflix would like to know what your favourite Netflix TV show is and why.

With so many great series available to choose from on Netflix, fans often find it’s hard to pick a favourite. From hit US dramas like The Good Wife, to hilarious comedies such as Fresh Meat and Suits, and cult shows like Sons of Anarchy, they feel sure there's something for everyone to discover and enjoy.

Members also have exclusive access to Netflix’s original series, including the fourth and final season of the dark detective drama The Killing, as well as Lilyhammer, a fish-out-water tale about a New York mobster living in Norway.

So, what is your favourite TV Show to watch on Netflix? Do the endless twists and turns of Homeland keep you on the edge of your seat? Do you scare yourself silly with the supernatural thriller American Horror Story? Maybe you like to put your analytical skills to the test with quirky hospital drama House? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear about it - and why you keep going back for more!

Check out the Netflix hub on Mumsnet to find out what TV series are currently available and coming up on Netflix.

Everyone who leaves their comment on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

I love them all! I'm a bit of a series junkie, watching on my iPad while I do the chores. We don't watch any other TV though. Recent favourites are Homeland and Breaking Bad.

wellington1975 · 07/11/2014 21:47

There's loads :)

Modern Family, Justified, Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, The Office.

Unfortunately, some of the trashier series I liked have been removed though (The Hills, Rachel Zoe).

ginnycreeper5 · 07/11/2014 21:52

Am I the only one that likes Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire? Hmm- both great!
Breaking Bad was good, but watched that ages ago.

ginnycreeper5 · 07/11/2014 21:53

I started watching Hannibal but gave up after the first season. The bad sound + Hannibal's constant mumbling made it difficult to follow.

DillyDallyDaydreamer · 07/11/2014 21:54

I loved modern family , orange is the new black, and watching things like Gavin and Stacy again .

MagersfonteinLugg · 07/11/2014 22:01

I have the US Netflix which is loads better than the UK version. The choice is so much more varied and up to date, so not having to wait so long for new episodes on my favourite shows.
Have just finished watching Parenthood which I loved as it reminded me of Thirtysomething.
Also watching the latest Walking Dead and Blacklist.....love Red!

BREAKING BAD FOR THE WIN yayer

wheretoyougonow · 07/11/2014 22:04

My husband and I are watching Breaking Bad. It took me a series to get into it but now I love the dark humour of it.
I have just introduced my boys to the A team which they love. Please bring back more 80's family shows!

It's so hard to choose!

I love Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Suits and the Good Wife. And Orange is the new black.

I've just started re-watching house.

I'd have to say Breaking Bad if asked to choose though.

Mummageddon · 07/11/2014 22:28

Too many to choose! Can I pick a few? Top one would be Breaking Bad but ive also recently enjoyed Buffy, am enjoying The Killing and also looking forward to working my way through 8 seasons of House.

forcookssake · 07/11/2014 22:42

I enjoyed Orange is the new Black so much. Then finding Lilyhammer was a real gem. I love having Netflix and have seriously streamlined my dvd collection as a result Grin

madamy · 07/11/2014 22:49

Definitely Breaking Bad, just started the last series and trying to watch it more slowly to keep it going for longer!

RabbitIssue · 07/11/2014 22:55

Absolutely loved hemlock grove, it's so weird yet compelling. Murder mystery with lots of crazy characters and sort of supernatural madness. Really enjoyed it :)

Titsalinabumsquash · 08/11/2014 00:05

I'll also add, for the comedy factor,

Fresh Meat,
IT Crowd,
Peep Show,

Excellent way to spend the insomnia plagued nights I'm having whilst pregnant.

EauRouge · 08/11/2014 08:38

Oh, I forgot Trailer Park Boys. I highly recommend it if you like offensive comedy Grin

I'll have to give Hemlock Grove a go, it sounds good.

Nerf · 08/11/2014 08:45

Just discovered Alphas. Cannot wait to watch the rest of it, and I love that I don't have to wait on a weekly basis.

serendipity1980 · 08/11/2014 08:51

I really like Homeland and Dextor - they are so gripping!

gamerwidow · 08/11/2014 08:52

Orange is the new black and house of cards

Mmmmnotquitesure · 08/11/2014 10:56

Nerf- alphas was fab but finishes mid story ... Gutted!

CK77 · 08/11/2014 12:00

Suits gets my vote! Can't wait for the next series! There are a lot to choose from but that's the one I love x

Fubsy · 08/11/2014 12:10

So excited that House is on! I really missed it when it was taken off terrestrial, so very happy to have a chance to see it all from the start.

Its so funny seeing people I recognise now, but wouldnt have known first time round, like Lisbon from the Mentalist (their first patient!) and Sam from True Blood.

Merrylegs · 08/11/2014 12:13

DH watched an episode of Orange is the New Black on the plane back from holiday. Got hooked and now it's the only thing our TV ever seems to play, apart from Sky Sports (boys) and Vampire Diaries (DD). I have Netflix on my kindle though and one day I am going to find something I want to watch and kick them off by changing the password mwah ha ha. I will be the mysterious 'person' hiding somewhere in the house.

thisismypassword · 08/11/2014 12:26
  1. Breaking Bad -- so sad when we finished it!
  2. House of Cards - So looking for forward to series 2!
  3. American Horror Story - Seen Asylum and Coven... waiting for Freak Show!
durhamgirl · 08/11/2014 13:54

Orange is the new black. Its so gritty and interesting

House of cards is next on my list
