Netflix would like to hear all about your Netflix moments and how you use the entertainment service with your family.

Netflix have released a new TV ad, watch it below and let us know your thoughts.

We all love great entertainment, what role does entertainment play in your household? Tell us what would make up your perfect Netflix moment and how does it make you feel? What are your "getting ready" rituals before you sit down to enjoy?

Maybe your perfect time to Netflix is cuddled up in bed with your DP or maybe it's a stolen moment at work in your lunch break?

Whatever it is, leave your comments below.

Everyone who adds their thoughts will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher*.

You can watch five short videos of how some other Mumsnetters use and experience Netflix here.

Thanks and good luck,

MNHQ

We love Netflix Grin my son absolutely hammers or for spongebob square pants he has AS and it has got us out of a whole a few times. We as adults love it too once the kids are in bed we can pick as choose what we want to watch. We pay over £100 for a full sky package but other than dh and sport we don't watch it....ever! We are loving he netflix original programs like house of cards and orange is the new black and the next on our list is dusk till dawn. We are re watching breaking bad it was so fantastic the first time we have to watch it again Grin

kmills · 16/04/2014 17:16

I love snuggling up on the sofa with my 3 daughters, plenty of snacks & a movie on Netflix. It's our girly Saturday night in.

Fizzyplonk · 18/04/2014 23:16

When we finally got Internet in our new house. DS was so happy to have Netflix back it was like Christmas!

BishB · 27/04/2014 17:07

We're another Netflix family. We first subscribed because of DH's love of Breaking Bad; then we discovered how awesome Netflix's own original content is: Lillyhammer, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black. I can't wait for the new Pablo Escobar series to "air". More original content please Netflix! DH and I watch after dinner before bed.

Our 5yo DD is a huge Lego and Star Wars fan so she loves Lego Ninjago, Lego Chima & Clone Wars in the brilliant kids section.

BishB · 27/04/2014 17:09

We watch via an Apple TV box connected to our TV. No streaming issues at all.

unadulterateddad · 29/04/2014 23:02

can't cope with breaking bad, but give me House of cards and a few free hours and I'm happy. Ideally on the sofa with a take away pizza, but more usually in a hotel room on my own with the laptop on to watch something to while away a few hours before sleep.

Netflix makes hotel stays survivable :)

supermariossister · 01/05/2014 10:04

Ive watched all of the available serious of criminal minds and cant get anymore, have withdrawal symptoms. could take up skys box set offers but it would mean cancelling Netflix so hoping that Netflix get them up soon so I can resume my marathon :D

miljones1 · 01/05/2014 20:31

I retreated into a breaking bad marathon a few months ago when I was having an awful time at work. cuddled up in bed with the laptop it was an ideal escape from reality! I didn't know what to do with myself when it ended!!

lolancurly · 02/05/2014 08:01

Yep, we love Netflix but it is a kind of a double edged sword as now we can watch so many more American series than we were aware of before! I am possibly the only human being in the world not to have watched or be watching Breaking Bad however. When things get fractious between my two girls (6 and 13) we separate them and get my youngest snuggled up in bed with a film on Netflix to chill out and forget what she was arguing about in the first place.

StillNoFuckingEyeDeer · 02/05/2014 14:41

We've just signed up for Netflix. DH & I have spent the last couple of evenings after the DDs are in bed, snuggled up together on the sofa watching a movie, instead of one of us watching something on TV while the other reads/browses the internet. It's great.

kelandab · 04/05/2014 09:14

I have heard of Netflix & it does look great! It's something that I an seriously considering signing up to in the Summer holidays as it's always nice to have a day or night where we all pretense to be at the cinema snuggled down with popcorn! Plus it's got to be a cheaper alternative to the cinema which is getting ridiculously expensive these days. I also like the idea that once the kids are tucked up in bed hubby & I can choose something to watch in an instant.

I had netflix on a trial basis, really enjoyed it but our internet is a bit intermittant so would maybe try it again now we have fixed it!

Used to love snuggling up in bed with my family (and sometimes some snacks too) to watch a film when the weather is hammering it down outside. Choices on Netflix seem as good as if not better than a lot of the competition.

RhinosAreFatUnicorns · 12/05/2014 20:12

We have film night each Saturday, taking it in turns to choose. The other chooses the takeaway for the evening. It is very rare that we sit together without iPads, iPhones etc, and enjoy each other's company and something new that we haven't seen before.

claireabell1987 · 13/05/2014 19:10

Netflix is amazing, we used to get the films from lovefilm but would always forget to be posting them back lol. We really got into breaking bad and watched it so quick we might just have to re watch it! At the moment we are enjoying the good wife. Great for when there is nothing on tv...which is most of the time. For us getting ready is getting a nice cuppa and then snuggling up on the sofa. Smile

gamerwidow · 13/05/2014 19:16

love Netflix had a few days off recently and watched the whole of house of cards back to back, love binge watching Smile it's saved me a fortune on kids dvds too, always something for my daughter and cousins to watch!

loobypas · 14/05/2014 09:43

I started a free trial a year ago as hubby was away for the weekend and I was really poorly and needed the kids to have a distraction. We wouldn't dream of finishing with it now! We loved Orange is the New Black and it is great for the kids.

ataraxia · 16/05/2014 07:24

The video made me think netflix is convenient in that you can watch it everywhere, and helps you be sociable - can make watching as much of an event as going to the cinema, but more relaxed.

PoppyAmex · 16/05/2014 07:37

The most impressive thing about Netflix is actually their own productions.

"House of Cards", " Orange is the new Black" and the absolutely brilliant "Lilyhammer".

cheekylittledevil · 19/05/2014 13:53

We love Netflix in our house - there's something for everyone and it's great to have such a wide choice of entertainment to watch when it suits you. DS and I are trying to get DH into Breaking Bad - brilliant!

wibblyjelly · 19/05/2014 22:08

Netflix was brilliant when D's was younger, and I was breastfeeding. It used to keep me company in the night, and I could always find something to zone out to.

Doubtfuldaphne · 20/05/2014 16:16

I've only just discovered Netflix this month and it's honestly made me so happy. It has all the current stuff on there, no ads and works excellently.
I think it's great value for money and it's been great having my laptop in the kitchen with louis theroux on while I cook and iron! It makes it much more enjoyable!

HannahLI · 21/05/2014 10:57

Our favourite place is in the afternoon myself and my two little ones snuggled up on the sofa under a blanket, sipping hot chocolates and eating marshmallows!

Arky · 21/05/2014 17:15

I've two sons at Uni who I struggle to think of things to buy them. They are not into fashion and don't want anything fancy in their shared accommodation. I bought the both a years Netflix for their Christmas presents. It was a huge success and the type of present that lasts the whole year. They don't need TV licences either.

stec0111 · 23/05/2014 12:01

I have not tried Netflix as I'm worried my internet connection would cope with the streaming of movies. Will have to take the time to investigate and see if Netflix would work for me. They do seem to have a great choice of movies and TV.
