Netflix would like to hear all about your Netflix moments and how you use the entertainment service with your family.

Netflix have released a new TV ad, watch it below and let us know your thoughts.

We all love great entertainment, what role does entertainment play in your household? Tell us what would make up your perfect Netflix moment and how does it make you feel? What are your "getting ready" rituals before you sit down to enjoy?

Maybe your perfect time to Netflix is cuddled up in bed with your DP or maybe it's a stolen moment at work in your lunch break?

Whatever it is, leave your comments below.

Everyone who adds their thoughts will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher*.

You can watch five short videos of how some other Mumsnetters use and experience Netflix here.

If you don't use Netflix please watch the videos of the Netflix ambassadors above and let us know what your impressions are of Netflix.

Thanks and good luck,

MNHQ

P.S. If you want to get involved in Netflix conversation on Twitter, they've introduced their new hashtag, #TimeToNetflix.

No contest here.....my perfect Netflix moment is when DS is in bed....or away with his Dad. When I can curl up in bed or on the sofa and watch something uninterrupted.

Last thing I saw was Frankie and Johnny...Michelle Pfeiffer and Al Pacino....fab film.

afromom · 15/02/2014 18:33

Love love love Netflix! We hardly ever watch regular TV in our house now! Favourite Netflix moment is snuggled down in bed with DS watching a funny film before bed on a Friday night. DS watches it all the time on his Xbox and we have it on the wii in the lounge. I have it on my iPhone to keep DS entertained when out and about and DS has it on his Hudl for when we go away, etc.

I also love that if we go round to a friends house we can log in on their laptop and watch a film streamed through the TV, rather than having to pay to rent one like we used to have to!

I've watched loads of things that I would never have thought to watch on TV and really enjoyed them. The only downside.... I work from home at the table in our lounge and can hear the latest box set I'm watching calling me all day! Grin

We are all fans of netflix in this house. We like the kids area, nice to have all kids films in one area.

I have also seen films I wouldn't have watched otherwise based on suggestions from what we have watched. I have enjoyed watching the buffy series but come on netflix time to add angel too Wink

Best bit of Netflix was DHs delighted face last night when realised of Season 2 of House of Cards was available to watch at one and then the horror on his face when he realised we couldn't do a marathon session of watching as he had to get up at 6.

Pinter · 15/02/2014 18:44

I caught up with loads of series when I was on ML before DC arrived. In bed after DP went to work in the morning on the iPad

Now it's to watch a film with DP after DC in bed. In the lounge via the xbox. With snacks! And wine... Smile

Got Netflix for Breaking Bad, my new love, but then realised it also has all my old loves on there too - EVERY EPISODE - eg The Thick of It, Twenty Twelve, Poirot etc etc. It is like the ultimate box set library!

mindingalongtime · 15/02/2014 19:07

We've become Netflix bingers, we watch 4 or 5 episodes a night, House of Cards, 3 nights and we watched the lot and then went into withdrawal until the 14th feb!

Ledkr · 15/02/2014 19:36

My 3 yr old can get the I pad, open netflix, search for a movie and play it all in a few seconds. Hilarious. She is partially deaf so likes the fact that she can use headphones and hear her film much easier than on the tv with all the background noise.
I just had an hours peace after swimming, she watched a movie and I had a cup of tea and read my book, blissful.

pancakesfortea · 15/02/2014 20:23

House of Cards marathon! 5 episodes in already and the night is still young!

We're huge Netflix fans in this house, our Sky subscription is gone (and when we cancelled, we told them it was because of Netflix!) but one thing that bothers me is things being removed. Bob the Builder went recently which was a huge loss for us, and looking back through lists of what's been removed before, there are a lot of kids' programs we'd love to have access to.

ThinkAboutItTomorrow · 15/02/2014 21:42

I can't get it to work. It can't stream to my apple tv.

kslatts · 15/02/2014 22:00

We tend to watch Netflix on ipad / laptop individually, if we all want to watch a programme we will watch on TV as a family using Sky on demand.

We do find Netflix good when going away on holiday will use it to watch a film on the laptop in the hotel room.

Fumnudge · 15/02/2014 22:48

H and I loved Fringe, shame we had to buy the box set to finish the series off, same with Luther. Why do that?
The end episodes were on there then taken off.
Naughty Netflix.

bdbfan · 15/02/2014 22:51

I love Netflix. Got rid of sky as nothing on sky compared to the shows on Netflix. Currently working my way through 24, on season 6 atm. Also loved orange is the new black, me and dh actually both loved it, unusual for us to like the same shows!

goldenretriever · 16/02/2014 08:02

Sounds fab with a better choice than Sky

telsa · 16/02/2014 09:34

No, doesn't do it for me. The advert makes me yawn....boring, just sitting there watching some tedious stuff from the culture industry, and even worse on some tiny screen or in bed, Why??? This one is passing me by. Would rather be doing something interesting instead.

IPokedABadgerWithASpoon · 16/02/2014 09:35

For me, its watching Numbers when I've got an evening to myself (dp at band practice and kids asleep) and trying to work it out before Charlie does!
For all of us, its a full cooked breakfast and a family film on Sundays (expect 'Up!', not sure I could take that again!)

BetsyBell · 16/02/2014 10:23

I love Netflix - either plugged into my laptop while other family members do their own thing or watching films as a family. Since we've had Netflix (maybe a year?) we barely watch any 'real' tv. Did I mention I love it? Grin

sealight123 · 16/02/2014 11:50

Me and my family are great lovers of Netflix!

Disney films, Breaking Bad, Blockbuster films and Louis Theroux documentaries till our hearts content lol

One thing that does annoy me is that the American Netflix has some films/series on that the British one doesn't and vice versa...just seems odd...

Now back to watching Elmo in Grouchland with my daughter for the 2nd time today haha

My best netflix moment is having a saturday night in with my sister to watch movies, or relaxing with dh to watch person of interest

Badvoc · 16/02/2014 18:57

The dc and I all snuggled up together in bed watching tangled or Kung fu panda :)
Then later on being able to watch films in the iPad in bed :)
Fantastic.

DaleyBump · 16/02/2014 22:23

We have stopped watching TV and even cancelled our TV licence because of Netflix. The husband and I lie in bed for a couple of hours every evening watching a movie while I feed the baby and it is just fantastic being able to spend that time together doing something we both enjoy.

ProfYaffle · 17/02/2014 11:36

We bought a new smart tv at the weekend and were thrilled that the remote actually has a Netflix button Grin We're working our way through Breaking Bad at the moment (Series 4, I Am The Danger!) our Netflix moment is when you've watched 2 episodes already, it's midnight, you really should be getting to sleep and you look at each other and say "one more episode!"

One thing though - please get more movies, doesn't have to be all the latest box office stuff, what about a solid collection of arty classics? Obscure hard to get hold of, critically acclaimed type of stuff?
