FEEL I HAVE DONE ALL THIS DURING HALF TERM.

ds2 had a major meltdown an hour ago- we were both in tears- i ended up telling him i wanted to walk out the door and not come back.

i know that i was wrong but i am so sick and tired of hearing his stamping down the stairs and dreading the look on his face.

funny that - about the board rubbers - we always look back and laugh about it - not 'oh, how uncivilised teachers were then!'

kernowcat · 21/02/2005 18:09

Please can I come? my two have been at their Dads for half term and now they can't even be bothered to hate me!

Chocol8 · 21/02/2005 18:09

Dribble...droool! Ahh, MrsF, yes what a thought! I just watched "Alfie" - and got very annoyed when ds came down to tell me what had happened to sodding Spot the dog...arghhhh!!!!

You know, if Jude played his cards right, he could have me! x

MrsFROSTgetful · 21/02/2005 18:11

coppertop · 21/02/2005 18:15

Where do I sign up for MrsF's X-rated tour?

Chocol8 · 21/02/2005 18:15

When are we going? Um, i'd hate to squabble but i'm in the back with Jude (I saw him first)!

coppertop · 21/02/2005 18:21

Is there anything we need to take with us? Apart from a nice young mayaaaaan of course.

MrsFROSTgetful · 21/02/2005 18:23

Malibu, suncream, bikini (barf as I look in the mirror), that's all!

(secretly runs into bedroom and packs very large makeup bag, after sun, magic knickers, bronzer, nail kit, hair and makeup artist....into infinity and definitely beyond!).

Chocol8 · 21/02/2005 18:25

MrsFROSTgetful · 21/02/2005 18:27

To think i started this thread whilst crying after a difficult afternoon- and now i'm smiling!

Mind you DH has taken the boys to mcdonalds as i couldn't face the rows we have every mealtime.

With a MN name like mine, what other kind of battery would I use?

Twiglett · 21/02/2005 18:31

coeee MrsF

waddabout-meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Chocol8 · 21/02/2005 18:31

Bless you MrsF! I have enough with one ds!

He is off school with a bad cold and was trying very hard to blackmail me into buying him a lego knight (how many does he actually NEED of the bloody things!), He said that he deserved one as he had been good for 5 minutes and then he changed it to "I will be good for 4 weeks".

I ain't holding my breath - I'm off on the mystery tour with you guys!

Glad it cheered you up though!

marthamoo · 21/02/2005 18:33

I wanna come! I wanna come!

I told my two they were "repulsive" last week - but I don't think ds2 knows what that means (he told me today "I love you Mummy but I not love you when you cwoss")

That sun lounger nearest Hugh's bar, that's mine.

MrsFROSTgetful · 21/02/2005 18:39

which knight does he need? I have a 'spare' one ....is it valdark.... something like that???

After yet another joint screaming meltdown from ds1 and ds2 on Friday I picked them both up and dumped them on separate armchairs with screams of "Now sit down and SHUT UP!" 20 seconds later they were both snoring. I felt so guilty for half-throwing them when they obviously couldn't help being such PITAs.

Chocol8 · 21/02/2005 18:45

I have lost track of their names, what colour is it? No, don't answer that please - he has soooo many of them already, but thanks! x

Chocol8 · 21/02/2005 18:48

Thanks so much - this thread is a real eye opener - I thought I was the only one...my ds just said to me "what's got into you now?" when it was him misbehaving!

Jools is right though and maybe we need to remind ourselves of this from time to time (oh, ok - ALL the time!)

JaysMum · 21/02/2005 18:53

Bags are packed....when are we off?....hubby has just assured me I dont need to put "the Rabbit" into quarentine........

pixel · 21/02/2005 19:01

I remember my mum phoning the 'childrens' home' when my sister and I were very naughty. My sister was sobbing and begging but I was too stubborn to say a word. Found out much later she was phoning the speaking clock!

Is it too late to report her?!
