FEEL I HAVE DONE ALL THIS DURING HALF TERM.

ds2 had a major meltdown an hour ago- we were both in tears- i ended up telling him i wanted to walk out the door and not come back.

i know that i was wrong but i am so sick and tired of hearing his stamping down the stairs and dreading the look on his face.

Just reminds me of my (childless) sister who always comments about things she has seen or heard. Last week she rang me and told me about a grandma in the supermarket shouting at a child , saying "I don't like you anymore" Apparently the child responded "I don't like you either". Grandma then got ennoyed for the child shouting back at her.
"Well, wasn't that unprofessional behaviour of the grandma..."

is being a grandma a profession now then?

O and while I am at it, she also lectured me on dummies:
Newborns should have silicone dummies, then when they are older latex, but when they are 3y old they should not have a dummie anymore."
Yes, sure, I know (and she knows) I give my 4 y old ds still a dummie at night time...Bad mum, I should report myself as well...

well, I think she thinks that all parents should go on a course about "how to besome a good parent". I think they run courses like that in Sweden???

I told my DD1 that I was going to get her adopted over the half term can't believe I said it TBH, she was just such a little cow and drove me nuts

I frequenly threaten to shoot kids in school, does that count? And when very provoked I tell them I will shove a board marker in one of their ears so hard it will come out the other side But in a kind and supportive way you understand.

I do tell them not to set fire to themselves because I can't be bothered to fill in the forms if they do! I also tell them I 'Will decend upon you like the wrath a God'....gotta do my best to be a character!
