NC 16/10/25 SD 23/10/25 I have just called today as has not had any acknowledgement and they told me we were awarded LCM and MRC as of yesterday - very quick!

Im Awaiting NC SD 10.10 and 17.10 honestly just feel like be declined the longer i wait an outcome

Mine is the 8/10 and I’m still waiting too! I agree, the longer it goes on the worse it feels especially seeing so many dates around ours being awarded

Please help i just called as I had a gut feeling NC SD 14/10. The lady said a decision has been made today but wouldn't say what? What do I do to find out. Lead up to Christmas my post is scarily inconsistent so waiting 7-10 days could be a month. Thank you

I have had this before and rung up and said my post is very bad and Ive had problems with it in the past and they did tell me/ put me through to someone

The lady said she couldn't see it to tell me even if it was positive (ie awarded) or negative .
I will call again tomorrow and hopefully get somewhere as much as its super fast and I appreciate the speed a decision has been made, I was only made aware recently that I could apply before his diagnosis. He is 10 and I've been fighting to get him support and diagnosis for 8 years.

My NC scan dates are both 27/08 and im no where near to hearing anything back.

Also any updates on MR dates, asking for a family member who did a MR middle of May and its still not been seen? Original claim was put in Dec 2024, MR middle of May and not heard anything. Thank you 😊

They did say they are processing the new claims very quickly atm so hopefully you will get an answer soon xx

What I did was call and say I was asking for the address to send any extra info too (in truth I already knew but having read posts about grumpy call handlers I didn’t want to get moaned at for calling) he said the decision had only been made the day before and willingly told me possibly I was just lucky and got a nice call handler I have no idea if they are supposed to say over the phone or not

My son has just been awarded blue badge (never applied before) and I have more letters to support (med increase due to seizures) do you think it will help?

Its entirely possible to get grumpy staff, no job has a 100% job satisfaction rate. The lady was lovely and polite just stated she couldn't tell me and to wait for the letter.

28 weeks today.... Sending positive vibes to everyone waiting a long time ..

Just care, this was supposed to be an MR because of late evidence to back up my little ones sleep but they said it was more of a COC so they sent my MR form their. My little one has mobility issues and on a waiting list for physio but I’ll deal with that when he’s 5 and I have all the evidence for it. I’m not to sure how things work with a blue badge as I’m sure I’ve read before they don’t really take that into account but I could be wrong. With meds I guess it depends how it works and how many times they need it etc things like that but I would probs sent it if it helps because conditions have worsened. I honestly don’t know, I would go with what you think is right , what are you doing a change for care or mobility?X

Has anyone ever called and youve asked if its been assigned to a dm and they told you to wait the 25 weeks and feel as though they havent even checked. Im just wondering as when i rang two weeks ago the guy on the phone was very helpful and he said i should find out within 2-3 weeks and the person after him said i was in final que and should be soon. But the others have said 25 weeks so feel as though they havent even bother looking because they said it hasnt been 25 weeks.

This happened to me yesterday, I rang back this morning but using option 4 on the last round of options and said I had been told a decision had been made and was it possible for them to tell me what it was. The call handler told me straight away and went through all the numbers and dates too. Good luck x

I called Monday and they asked if it was a NC, I said no then she said well if it’s a CoC you’ll have to wait and see. Wouldn’t even take my details to check. I have only ever called to see if they have received evidence so this was the first time calling to get an update🙈 happened to someone else on here too. I think they’ve been told to just give the wait time speech and that’s it😂X

Its very annoying isnt it, and it feels as though your just being fobbed off. I only rang to tell them that i wont be sending off the evidence as i realised it was incomplete and that they are sending a complete version to me soon. And he was like you only put claim in august and wait 25 weeks as this is how long its taking which i know is BS. I just dont know if i have it in me to fight for my twins too for a MR! Its so hard, and all of there extra care needs is causing me so much stress emotionally and financially its so hard.

Sorry to hear you are still waiting I do hope they start with the back log last year my asd dd3s claim took 19 weeks then further 18 for MR so I understand about the waiting times are stressful especially seeing awards dates after

since September from what I've read and a few asd/adhd mums i know have been seen to within 5-6, weeks
Hoping you get your outcome ASAP hun i involved my mp for my MR at 16 weeks and got the outcome for 18 weeks

I know the waiting times are all over the place fingers crossed you get your answer before Dec x
If they decline for my 2 year old asd son I will wait til Feb when he is 3 and start new as I feel maybe I should have waited but I was assuming he'd be 3 by time got outcome due to horrendous wait times last year but since coming back on here since sent his and dd4 asd claims off I saw most claims from Sept being decided within 5/6 weeks don't think the case for me and mine

Its the not knowing if they are going to be awarded thats killing me. I just feel like its going to be a bad outcome. Im already waiting for one MR, dont feel like i can do two more!

My twins have just turned three, been sent off for autism diagnosis and adhd referals will be done when 6. I have speech and language referals for both, paediatrics, supporting letter from GP, health visitor and disability worker but still feel like it wont go in our favour.

Im glad all children are getting the awards they deserve and very fast. It just makes you feel like yours is going to be a bad outcome!

I hope your son gets awarded too. He shouldnt have to wait until he is three to get the help he deserves. I will let you know my outcome, keep me updated about yours. Good luck!!
