coc/renewal sent last week recieved Friday, awarded today!

How many weeks before renewal are forms sent out?

Wondering if anyone has any advice?
My daughter gets DLA which is due to end next month, I've sent her renewal form of and filled in the mobility part for her too. However today I've received a form which looks so much like the first form I filled out and a letter saying from the age of 5 children can claim mobility (I know it's HRM from 3) my daughter was 5 on the 25th November
Does anyone know if this is something they always send out after their 5th birthday if they receive the care element only, or if they're wanting more info but also me filling a whole new form in?
I tried phoning today and couldn't get through and will try tomorrow as I haven't had a letter to say they've received her renewal (I got a letter last time but know they don't always send them just want to make sure they've got it)i

Made a formal complaint about uc and there time scales on verifying & bd payments dwp suppost to call today

Am I able to call them and ask to be notified by text if my son is awarded?

Just incase anyone else comes across something similar I have been sent a COC form but it's automatically sent out but as I have done her renewal and don't need a COC or anything I do not need to fill the form in.

Sorry do you mean you sent back both forms? Can I ask when your renewal was due? And if they made a decision on COC at the same time as renewal? Sorry, I've just sent both forms back and hoping they do both together but our renewals now due until February

My sons always verified in just under 2 weeks, note on journal today said gone 2 dm for back date etc....reckon will be mid Jan b4 they sort :-(

Renewal wasn’t due until April but I’d sent off for a Coc so they told me it’s been done through my Coc. I sent it off last week and got a decision Tuesday I was shocked

When did you send the COC off can I ask?

I know feels like forever thankyou xx

Has anyone been awarded via MR without getting a phone call from decision maker?

I did a complaint that they wasn’t replying to my messages and they haven’t told me if I needed to wait til the review was finished before the backdating went to a dm, they messaged yesterday saying it has gone to a dm marked as urgent and apologised as my messages was going to the review team and they hadn’t passed it on, it would be nice if they could sort it before Christmas but I’m not going to bank on it

Uc take about a week to reply :-/
I did change the 26th Nov, verified on the 8th Dec messaged to ask if it can be back dated yest they said gone 2 dm :-/

I’ve been waiting over 2 weeks for them to verify still not done

Have you put note on journal?
As i reported the change then wrote on journal, I added 2nd message after a week and got snooty reply saying no time frame, then was note on the 8th saying verified and so I added message asking about back pay and got a nicer message saying gone to dm

Yeah put 3 notes on my jornal 1 snotty reply back then I wrote again they wrote back saying can take a couple of weeks to which I wrote back it has been a couple of weeks they just take the absolute mik

Hi Yano when you doing the change of circumstances on your journal how do you do it it’s asking about my daughters year her education stopped she’s still in school am I doing something wrong it’s stressing me out little help would be much appreciated x
