Im still waiting for a MR but mines july. So still have a little wait!

Mines 16/6 so thinking well into the new year now especially with quiet it is on here it gives you a little hope when people are posting and they seem to be getting through claims lol

Lmtab · 08/12/2025 14:33

MR 20/06 not sure what date there on but mine was in ‘holding queue 3’ last week so I’m guessing well into January.

the closer it gets the more I’m telling myself it will be another decline but I just want to know at this point.

What does holding cue 3 mean lol I think they make things up as they go along and yes I’m the same I just want to know ither way now I was a straight decline for the new claim for my boy they didn’t follow up on the evidence or even ring teachers at school so I got lots more evidence from the school and other bits for the mandatory reconsideration but at this point I just feel as tho it will be another decline and it’s such a long wait to be declined

Well I got told it was with a decision maker two weeks ago but I knew it wouldn’t be cause of dates so I called back and was told it’s in holding queue 3, waiting for a decision maker to pick it up, there must be three queues who knows! I don’t like to call much because of the conflicting information they give!

I was total decline aswell I sent his EHCP, SEN support plan, ASD diagnosis and report, Ed psych report and ADHD referral that the SENDCO had filled in.

my only extra evidence was a four day diary I made of the extra needs and a letter explaining why I thought the decision was incorrect, so I don’t think there’s much of a difference and I’m likely to be declined again.

Oh 100% its does make you feel better seen people getting awarded especially ones close to your date!
My NCs are 15 weeks in too and everyone around my date has already had their decisions but i seem to be nowhere near the finish line for those too haha xx

At this point i genuinely feel like it all depends who’s pile it gets put on regardless of how much evidence you send I hve heard of people getting rewarded when they have sent no evidence just wrote what the extra care their child needs but people with tons of evidence that have been declined.
my fingers are crossed for you that you hear soon and it goes in your favour I think all the system is wrong and they need to change it all up because it is so stressful for all the parents surely we shouldn’t after fight this hard for something our children should be entitled to 🙄

I know it’s awful I know children with similar needs who have been awarded no problem so it doesn’t make sense. Similarly I had no problem obtaining an EHCP for my son but others with similar needs have struggled and had a massive fight on their hands. There is literally no consistency across any of the systems at all leaving a lot of confusion and stress 😔

Does anyone know the link to make a complaint on uc? It’s nearly 4 weeks now of waiting for them to back pay the disability element, they are doing my review but I have asked if it wouldn’t be done until they finishes the review and they haven’t responded 🙄

I called on Thursday and my little one was awarded MRC but they are only backdating it to the 3rd of July so I called on Friday and they couldn’t exactly tell me why but said it could be because my little one had to be on melatonin for 3 months before they could award it from the change which I didn't change it was an MR that they sent to COC and I sent the melatonin as late evidence but they have said on the award letter he doesn’t have a night time need so doesn’t make any sense how it could be the melatonin and the only thing I “changed” was his sleep so don’t know where the MRC came from but they are saying any 4 year old needs supervision during the night so he has no night time needs. Neurotypical 4 year olds sure as hell aren’t bouncing of the walls and running on a couple hours sleep every night and needs to constantly be watched as they put them self in danger and are in pain most nights because they withhold doing the toilet so I’m honestly confused on his decision so I’m doing an MR about the backdate as they couldn’t give me a clear answer as to why and the night time needs but I’m glad he was at the least awarded middle rate X

My daughters was verified on 1st December and the same day I received a message on my journal saying they are doing a uc review on my account 😞 I was going to wait til Thursday when I will be 4 weeks and put in a complaint, it usually gets done quickly then but I’m not sure if the review will delay it. Maybe I’ll give them a call if I don’t hear anything by Friday

My 5yr old no sen or additional needs does still wake at night... however she goes bk 2 sleep so I would argue the night time needs
I sent camera evidence for my sons proof of night time needs with lots of other supporting evidence.

I would definately call the helpline tomorrow and ask them, also ask if a case manager or someone higher than the usual agents can call you to explain what exactly is going on, surely they can do that?

Quick question, has anyone been told a text will be sent when a decision is made and then not recieved a text and your child still been awarded?

Exactly my point, my little one can too but it’s after hours of being awake and it’s worse than his needs during the day as he’s overtired and becomes aggressive but majority of the time he gets around 5 hours broken sleep from 9pm to 8am🥹 I can’t even leave the room once he falls asleep as he wakes right up and if I desperately do, I have to get someone else to watch him😔 it’s not even about the amount of sleep he gets it’s the care needs during the night too, I’m not sure what more evidence I can send but I never sent a sleep diary so I’m thinking of doing one of them. The award letter makes no sense either so that’s even more frustrating of what to argue😭X

I was told that a decision maker would call me when a decision was made when I asked for a text to be sent when decision was made but never received a text or call so yeah I’m sure you can still be awarded. Have you heard anything about any of yours?X

Thats good then hopefully mine will be same if i dont recieve one! I havent heard anything, coming upto 16 weeks for my NC. Honestly dont understand why its taking so long. When i called last week it still wasnt with a dm. Obviously others i have a long wait still xx

JenniJay16 · 09/12/2025 09:14

Called yesterday to check progress and see if additional evidence received and was told no timescales are being given. My SD for MR is 27/6 asked if it was likely to a year after my original claim date which was 6/2 and lady said she couldn't tell me any timescales just that it is in the queue and i'll be contacted 🙄

Hiya everyone

I'm just a smidge confused over something. Is the date they receive your form and send a text the same as the scan date? Or is the scan date another day altogether (and do you get a notification for that?)

I had a text to say they received the forms on the 20th of November but is that the same thing?

Thanks x

Princessmom222 · 09/12/2025 10:15

Just called and the women told me that they are unable they arent able to see if its with a dm which i think is BS. She also said that my claim is processing, dont know what the hell that means. And finally she said they are only able to tell me when a devision has been made.
