I've just called this morning and our MR has been turned down aswell. Is it worth going to tribunal ?

I don’t know if it makes a difference to their system/order but when I phoned before asking if I had time to send in extra evidence they wrote it on the system I guess as a heads up to whoever makes the decision but you never know they might phone you when they’re making the decision and you can say to them I have this evidence that I’ve sent a couple times saying xyz.

Thankyou I hope so the process is so stressful 😣

Congratulations I'm so happy for you ☺️ hopefully I should hear something next week if yours was done yesterday 🤞 so so happy your wait it finally over and you’ve got the outcome you was hoping for.

Thank you 😊 hopefully won’t be long for you either! I wasn’t going to call but couldn’t wait the weekend! Please let me know when you do xx

I bet you are glad you did now, such a long wait but you got the right decision in the end so it makes it worth the wait. I think I will do what you did and call the day after 31 weeks if I haven’t heard anything before. Did you send loads of evidence? I’ve sent stacks I wonder if it will delay making the decision 😵‍💫

I put it on the 31st of October so about a week ago! Xx

I got my decision letter this morning on Uc they accepted the special circumstances. Quite lucky its been so fast for me xxx

coeliacsucks · 07/11/2025 13:57

Can someone work this out for me NC from 8/10 payment for £515.50 pending for Monday. Is that high care and low mobility?

I know it’s a horrible system they seem to have I know it’s not the people on the other side of the phones fault but it doesn’t help with the stress when they tell you so many different things depending on who you talk to. You spend the whole wait time stressing and guessing. Doesn’t help your life when you only apply because your child have different needs and needs extra help your heads scrambled and stressed 24/7 without the DLA faff on top of that. Fingers crossed we all get the result our children deserve and it’ll all be worth it in the end 🤞

Just rang up to tell them one of the twins has been placed on iron medication 3 times a day. And they told me its not with a DM but it shouldnt be much longer around 2-3 weeks. Has anyone else ever been told this and it been true?

When did you call for forms?

Victoria1410 · 07/11/2025 14:15

Does anyone know if there’s a difference between a decision maker and your claim been allocated please?
Was told on the phone the claim was with DM then went off to get NI number then goes back to DM to make a decision and phoned yesterday and was told it’s been allocated but what does that actually mean

It generally means that its been allocated to a decision maker from my experience.

Did you have to ask for it to be backdated and any response from them? Or did they just do it automatically?xx

I can’t even remember what I sent now it was so long ago! Definitely a photocopy of his blue badge and the latest One Plan from his nursery (they might call that something different where you are, IEP or something) - can’t remember if I sent anything else. I did send a lot in for the new claim though back in 2024 x
I just can’t believe how long its taken to be honest!x

I’m completely new to this too, we’re all in the same boat but I sent extra evidence at the weekend so would’ve been sent Monday and phoned yesterday and they said they have it so pretty quickly and I just sent it with freepost I couldn’t get it to be tracked as I put free post on the envelope and didn’t know the postcode but maybe phone on Monday and ask if they have it scanned. They are pretty quick I think with extra evidence as they would already have your child’s claim and info
