I saw on a Facebook group that someone doing COC with SD 13/05 was awarded. That’s the day after my scan date and there’s so many of you before May still waiting! Mind boggling

Was there COC just for mobility?

They were already on HRC and did COC for HRM. I’ve only gone for mobility too

What’s your scan date? It seems to be just the mobility change that gets decisions earlier

bobcat1987 · 08/10/2025 18:02

I did a MR on 30/4 for my daughter as she got awarded mrc but needs care day and night due to all her issues the letter i sent as evidence off her Speech and language therapist states she needs care in the night due to dysphagia will this be enough evidence? They have all the daytime care evidence just night was needed for mr
23 weeks we've been waiting now and I know people been waiting longer than us too!

Mrc does cover some night time needs. The difference between hrc and mrc is there has to be significant and prolonged care all through the day and night. I personally dont think it would cover night needs.

We spend throughout the night at least 2 hours attending to her she has polydipsia and drinks in excess but all her water requires thickener so we are making this up throughout the night too which results in regular nappy changes in the night due to how much she is drinking and as shes a newly diagnosed coeliac her stools are very unpredictable so a few nights a week we find ourselves bathing her in the middle of the night

Ah that's different then, does the salt reports say this in it/requiring it durning the night?

Yeah shes been really thorough in regards to night time needs and how long we would spend doing these things, its just such an anxious wait after all these weeks! Ive had to send further evidence of her coeliac diagnosis too as this has only been diagnosed 4 weeks ago

I was just gling through the evidence I sent for the MR and realised I accidentally sent the same page of her physio report 3x over instead of the full report. I think ive fucked this up now 😭

Oh no your joking 🤦‍♀️ I would call them first thing and let them know if a decision hasn’t been made they might give you time to send it in?

Yeah this is what im going to do. Im ao bloosy upset now that ive messed this up for her. Although all evidence does state her being non mobile but I dont think theyll take much care for them without the physio report

Crazycat234 · 09/10/2025 07:18
