So called just now. Had to wait 55 minutes to get through. Really nice lady. However apparently if you haveva twin claim it goes to a different que that takes even longer because it needs to go to a twin decision maker.

If that was the case why do I have 2 scan dates when they were sent in the same envelope. Anyway still waiting NC SC 24th/ 25th June.

I want to call, but trying to hold off until next Wednesday, I surely can't have to wait much longer

I know how you feel I try to call each Tuesday but then Monday comes and I can’t help myself 😂 29 weeks is a long time to wait, call as much as you like they’ve made you wait all this time. I would think you will have a decision by next Wednesday🤞 hopefully a good decision too

That's what I'm like, I haven't called for 2 weeks because he made me feel so crap when I called 2 weeks ago. I think if I haven't heard anything by Friday, I'll give them a call. I hope I get a good decision, but I just have a bad feeling that anyone who is left to get to 30 weeks, just get rejected

NC 30/07 I’ve read that people get letters to confirm they’ve got the application wait times ect I’ve not had a letter only a text to say they’ve got it is this normal?
As I’ve not heard anything at all since and I know I’m still in the wait time time frame but seeing people be awarded after the scan date makes you just worry as to why it’s not your child’s turn, I don’t want to ring as it’s not actually been than long compared to MR/COC times

There are nice ones too but there is this one man that is so rude, not sure why he’s not been sacked surely they must monitor calls. It seems to be the people that have done a change for care and mobility that wait so long which I suppose they have got double the amount to look through, hopefully we get the award that’s right for our children I really don’t want to wait another 30 weeks for a mr. I’m 3 weeks behind you and have already had enough so I can only imagine how you’re feeling with this wait.

Called for forms the 4th August sent back scanned on system 24th August so look like I'm in for a long wait

I've had a couple of nice ones, but I've had a couple of rude ones as well and I just think, why are you working in a job like this, if you can't have empathy and compassion for people who already deal with a lot day to day and just want an update. I've only done COC for mobility, we already get HRC, so I don't understand why I've waited longer than most have. I hope you get a decision soon as well, the thought of waiting another 30 weeks to get what he deserves makes me so anxious and worried.

I totally agree, it should be supportive people on the end of the call, especially with the nature of the call we are calling about. I didn’t realise you was only doing a COC for mobility, that’s not fair at all so many has been awarded at 21 weeks after you. Have you sent in much evidence? I often wonder if waiting longer mean they will be having a good look at the form and evidence, probably hopeful thinking though.

My son was awarded and scan date was 14/8 so they may surprise you with a short wait

I stupidly waited to long to call been on hold for 10 minutes and they close in 15 mins 🫠 looks like ill have to wait until tomorrow

*editing to add its currently with the dm and should have a decision by tomorrow! Sc 22/04 now im shtting myself incase it doesnt change

I saw on a Facebook group that someone doing COC with SD 13/05 was awarded. That’s the day after my scan date and there’s so many of you before May still waiting! Mind boggling

For some reason not everyone ends up with a letter or a text , I ve done an NC, a renewal and now waiting on a COC half the time I got a letter or a text and then half I didnt get either.

After mine too 06/05,I seen another may this morning on fb but they didn’t say the exact date so here’s hoping ours are with a DM this week or next🤞🏽 I’m going to call tomorrow see what they say, I’ve put off phoning them but I last called over a month ago to check they received evidence so need to brave it and call😂X

Im in northern ireland so we have a different office that deals with dla over here and it closes at 4. Which is such a stupid time to close

Some of them just sound like robots and have no empathy, I understand it is a stressful job, having to deal with people who just want information, but that is what you signed up for. Yes, only doing mobility, I sent paediatrician letters, EHCP, letters from school, confirmation he has ADHD/autism as well as other conditions, SALT feeding plan as he has a PEG, as well as 7 pages of my own writing notes and examples of how he needs support and things that have happened and what we have had to support him with.

Yeah definitely, people work till past 4pm and can't always call before that time

If further evidence was signed for today when would it be scanned?

Ive had a text saying theyve made a decision, I think its bad news because when my other son got awarded it said in the text he had been awarded .

Dont stress babe, ive seen people get the same text and they have been awarded

I was going to call on my day off, but I’ve just logged on to my bank and seen a backpayment so we must have been successful coc from MRC to HRC! Scan date was 10/03 ♥️
