Hi has any1 got renewal for nov they received form 11/8 this wait horrible

Renewals dont usually get looked at until just before the end of the current award. So maybe 2 weeks to literally days before.

30 weeks tomorrow for COC and still heard nothing. Getting ridiculous now

Hopefully you hear something today or tomorrow, have you called up today? COC aren’t supposed to go over 30 weeks

MadHouse24 · 03/10/2025 14:15

Hi I have just been told that a renewal decision has been made today but they said they couldn’t tell me the outcome. How do people get them to tell you over the phone as I have seen that people do get told? x

Hi when was ur claim meant to end my ends Nov 14 and they received my form for renewal on 11/8

Im so sorry, that’s horrible news 😞 especially after all this waiting! Did you do a COC for care and mobility? Definitely do a MR I know the wait is going to be long but hopefully it will be worth it in the end 🤞

I’m not 100% sure but I think they seem to be a few weeks less than COC, even if you was to have a renewal due in that time still do a MR for back pay if they change the award. It’s totally devastating that you even need to go through a MR after waiting all that time! Good luck with your MR! Thank you I think I will have another 4 weeks before a decision going on wait times.

Meli3 · 06/10/2025 16:14

Hello does anyone know how long u/c take to verify and backpayment?

LizzieLoulabell · 06/10/2025 16:26

i rang as I couldn’t wait any longer. And it’s still not be been allocated to anyone. She did say I could ring again whenever I wanted to ask for an update as there is no time scale they can give me.

SnugKhakiBee · 06/10/2025 16:32

I am a new claimant. We made our claim back on 13 Aug and had a text to say all received etc.
Today I had a text to say they needed to speak to me. I was asked security questions name/my name/postcode/name of bank and then asked if we had lived in Scotland or wales. That was it! The call was about 40 seconds long and I don’t know what to make of it. Any insights from those more experienced?! ❤️

😂 that’s a first them saying you could call for a update whenever! It can’t be long I would think you should receive a decision by next Monday if not before 🤞

I dont think it would help if im being honest. The school report says 'mum says' which isnt helpful and although on melatonin and states sleep difficulties, it doesnt mention any care needs

They received my NC 6/8 and I had a pending payment in my bank account 2/10.
they seem to have really sped up on anyone who applied from July onwards so I don’t think you’ll be long.
Youll likely get a payment before a decision letter so keep an eye on your bank account 🤞🏼

Haha i noticed your post this morning and thought same date as me, i can't believe MR are taking over 6 months.
Was your claim a complete decline or have you done a MR for a higher rate? 💫
