N/C SD 22nd August. Anybody know what date they’re on for new claims?

They received my NC 6/8 and I had a payment in my bank account yesterday.
Haven’t had a letter yet though.
was very shocked as they said it would be 15-25 weeks!

MrsKB16 · 04/10/2025 22:17

Your Complaint

Thank you for getting in touch regarding your child now receiving Disability Living Allowance (DLA).

This matter cannot be handled through the complaints process, as it relates to a change in your circumstances that is still going through the standard verification process.

Once the necessary checks are completed, any entitlement changes will be applied to your Universal Credit claim. Joke really

Have you had a note on your journal to say it’s been verified and will be passed to a dm to see if they will backdate it yet?

Hi,

The decision making team has up until 14 Oct.

It’s taken along time to verify your child I wonder if that was what has made the wait longer, I don’t think you will have much longer to wait if it went to a dm on 15th sept, some areas seem to take longer than others, hopefully you hear soon, once you receive the dm decision letter on your journal the back pay goes in within a few days.

Adsumardtymes · 06/10/2025 09:39

On week 24 M/R 23/4/25 i couldn’t wait no longer so I’ve called today. I spoke to a lovely gentleman who has told me I have one person in front of me before the decision-maker gets my claim and I should be hearing within the next couple of weeks. Which whatever outcome it is I will be so glad the wait is over. I know there’s a few that have the same date as me so hopefully in the next few weeks you should hear to. My claim was a completely declined due to lost evidence. I really do hope it goes in my little girl’s favour. It’s been a hard morning trying to get her to school on her scooter that needs to be retired. I’m physically and mentally exhausted now. 💜

Minigems258 · 06/10/2025 09:41

I'm going to phone later I just don't know if I can handle bad news 😞

My SD for MR is 22/04 so that’s good to hear, I’m 24 weeks tomorrow. We was also a complete decline due to the last decision maker not actually looking at the evidence we sent (this was stated on the decline letter that they made their decision using the claim form and nothing else)
