Im almost out of my savings as I have to pay for 2 carers to come and help with the twins. ( I also have another set of twins) I have another 2 Autistic children so it takes the carers help to ensure that the children are safe. So hopefully not much longer .

I am yes 😣 all I get when I call is they can’t give information on wait times for COC, I’m 23 weeks and 2 days. It’s strange because they seem to have done 20/3 - 14/4 and my scan date is 8/4.

Calling today as his medication changing again :-/

Just called... coc not being given updated times... I said I heard it was up to 30 weeks she said "its taking longer than that" but she was really nice on the call :-/

still got that they have no timescale and wouldn’t even tell me if it was with decision maker 😥

I hope it’s not over 30 weeks! They clearly aren’t given out wait times anymore, you would think after how long we all wait they would be happy to update us.

i phoned on monday and they said no decisions been made uet x

It’s putting me off calling because they don’t give us any information and some are so rude! I will probably just call once a week from now on until I hear something.

I spoke to my sons specialist health visitor today, and they were suprised when they accepted the COC that they didn’t extend the renewal, so she suggested I do a mandatory reconsideration for the renewal date, will this mess up what they awarded him? and what does it mean for the renewal date? not sure what she means, she spoke about obviously his brain damage having a significant impact, ect and it will take him longer than normal children to progress.

I called on Friday last week to see if they had the new evidence I sent, didn’t even ask for an update incase they had an attitude but the guy said you’ve got a good amount of evidence there and it’s with the reviewing team now, don’t even know what that means🙄 there hasn’t been many COC the last week or 2 on here so wonder if people have been awarded and they haven’t put an update on here or are DLA slowing down again on them🙈

Called them today my MR date is 26/3 they said not assigned to anyone yet but they are on first week of March now so it shouldn’t be much longer x

There seems to be a lot of COC throughout these last couple of threads that haven’t updated when they’ve received a decision, I do wonder if it’s because they didn’t get a good decision? I have no clue what a reviewing team is? 😵‍💫 I’ve never been told that one before but it would make sense for someone to look over them before going to a dm to make the decisions quicker. Each time I’ve called it sounds like it’s close to dm stage then they say they can’t give information for coc. I’m just worrying now because it seemed like they was getting it down to 21 weeks but I’ve not heard anything at 23 weeks.

There’s other coc that was told it wasn’t with anyone but was infact with a dm at that time, I just wish they would be straight with us where our claims are up to. Everyone around my scan date has received a decision, it doesn’t make sense why they skipped a section of scan dates and went onto the end of March / April. Hopefully we see aload of COC awarded soon there doesn’t seem many decisions just lately.
