yes it is! waited for more than 21 weeks for NC and more waiting time for UC as well 😞

I waited 6 months for a coc and another 6 months for mr and now back to waiting for uc, im sure there was a link somewhere in the threads someone made a complaint via the link and that sped things up for them not sure if anyone here knows the link?

New claim SD 14/04, called yesterday and still in holding queue

No not heard a peep i phoned to escalate it and i was sent a message saying there's no time frame and to wait for direct message from dm 🙄

Hi all. We recently got our claim changed from middle to higher rate care (backdated to may). I’m wondering if our UC disabled child element will be backdated too as I’m guessing we will now get the higher rate of that too?

Im in northern ireland so our wait times are usually a bit quicker than the rest of the uk. But our MR date is 22/04 and I rang ghe other day and they said at a minimum another 4 weeks wait

My friends coc was awarded today. Her scan date was in the middle of march (she cant remember what date exactly)

Hi all, I’m on week 27 of waiting for a decision on a COC for my son’s DLA. Starting to get impatient lol x

Just had a call from DM turns out I forgot to add all my evidence so I have to send that off tomorrow 🤣

Amazing, I hope she got the award she was hoping for. Every coc around my date has been awarded and I’m still waiting. But I know there is still some febs and March still waiting so maybe they will be finishing those off first.

What! Omg atleast they called and told you and didn’t make the decision without it 😵‍💫

Coc are all over the place, most of March and Feb have been done but there are still some still waiting and an April has also been done. I’m coc 8/4 and still not heard anything yet.

Our scan date was the 5/3/2025.. it takes so long!! Thank you for replying x

does anyone know how this works, my friend has claimed DLA for their kid but they are on LCW and are waiting on an assessment to so if they get LCWRA on UC for themselves , if they get the LCWRA before their child’s DLA decision and their child gets MRC or HRC, can they get the carers element backdated from before they where awarded LCWRA?

She did and was awarded untik the child has to move over to pip which is amazing. Hopefully wont be much longer for you, the wait is horrendous

I know!! I was like oh damn so had to call the school to get a copy of his EP report 🙈

Omg that's so bad! I had a reply to say they will look at backdating once my kids are verified, they've verified two of them but not my youngest which is strange...
have they at least paid you the correct rate disabled child element on your universal credit normal payments? xx

Yeh thats all sorted just the back pay i dont think they like this part 🤣
