You would hope so, it would make it so much easier if it was strictly in date order and I would know I definitely have time to send in more evidence that way

I only asked because someone else with your scan date has a pending payment for tomorrow, coc seems to be all over the place.

Hi, I'm new to this so sorry if what I'm about to ask has already been asked. I put in a COC back in February, scan date 13th Feb. Has anyone with a similar date had a decision yet? Thanks.

Hi. New here, my sons claim is due to run out on 29/08 so this Friday, just called for an update as sent all the forms off in may and she said a decision has been made today, she can’t tell me over the phone.. I said usually, he would get his next payment next week and she said well if he doesn’t get it then call back. Feeling a little disheartened, so now have to wait for the letter which could take me up to 8th September.

Just call back up, i rang this morning and was told my child's decision. When you call choose option 4 on the last part not option 2 😊

Any feb cocs being done yet? Coming up to 28 weeks now 😬

My COC scan date is 26/03 I rang today and was told a decision was made

Ohh I might ring in a minute, last time I rang then told me a decision could take another several months and it will be done when it’s done and not to ring again so I’ve been putting it off 😂

Hey I have put in a New claim for my daughter the SD was 13/06. Does anyone know if they have made decisions around this date? I did get a letter around the 7th week 31st July saying sorry the decision is taking so long and it can take up to 15 weeks. Not sure if that means anything in terms of if we will be awarded or rejected? Thank you

My daughter received her official diagnosis of autism today. DLA currently have the COC from back in may and now her renewal. She’s gone from a diagnosis of GDD to autism. The minute I get her report I’ll be sending it special delivery to DLA!

NC sent and received 04/06.

phone call about 3 weeks ago checking I am who I say I am.
letter arrived last week dated the 10th of August saying up to 15 weeks for a decision.

any NC from around this time been accepted?

When I spoke to the lady to confirm who I was she told me not to ring back up and that it would take a while 🤔.

Might pop them a call tomorrow as I haven’t received anything.

I would definitely give them a ring tomorrow. They seem to be all over the place with SD I hope.you get good news when you ring tomorrow 😊

Rang them at tea time to be told it’s with a decision maker and they will send me a text when a decision has been made and then to call them and they will tell me what’s what.

I got the text today my SD for COC is 17th Feb. Just waiting for the letter now to see the outcome

That’s good news then! I have just been waiting. I’ve seen that people sometimes get a text message if they are awarded but I might give them a ring tomorrow. Thank you for your response

Woke up this morning to a payment in my bank from them.

I'm assuming a letter will now follow?

Think I will still give them a call if one doesn’t arrive today.

30 weeks today of a MR and back pay is pending in my account. Looks like LRC no mobility which is what I expected and am happy with.

I would give them a ring with your daughter's SD being the same as my daughter's hopefully they will have awarded her around the same time too. I hope you get good news when you ring them 😊

Ahh that's great news, I'm glad your child has been awarded. I'm going to ring them again today to see if I can get someone to tell me the details of my daughter's awarded as the letter takes a while to arrive.

Hi everyone, I did a new claim for my son last September, I was told no and did the MR in February, I’m currently on week 27 of the MR and feeling so disheartened about it. Everytime I call I just get palmed off. It will be a whole year in September that I’ve been waiting! I’m so worried there going to say no again and then we will have to wait even longer for tribunal. 😔 when I did his original claim I didn’t have any evidence however since doing the MR I’ve sent multiple paediatrician appointments and letters, SOG’S assessment report which shows development delay, speech and language referral, blue badge, school reports and letters saying he has 1:1 and there doing an EHCP for him, ASD assessment letter, do you think this evidence is enough? He needs help with everything from brushing his teeth and washing his hands, dressing undressing, toileting, feeding etc he has to go in a stroller when we’re out due to his meltdowns and absconding, he becomes so distressed by the slightest thing. He has to sleep with me at night otherwise he won’t sleep at all and even with me he wakes constantly and tries to get out the bedroom he’s had time off school due to lack of sleep. Im so tired of waiting and just have this awful feeling there going to say no again. 😔
