Oh wow I would have been fuming! I've currently been for hold for 48 minutes and I'm invested now lol

I am, I’m on hold atm, like I know they’re overworked and sick of people ringing but not letting us know anything, telling everyone different things and seeing people behind us getting their decisions is just taking the pss 😒

KCYA · 01/08/2025 14:53

Thank you for the lovely, supportive messages.

I have no clue how end of Feb MR’s are getting completed when there seems to be many people from Jan that are still waiting to hear back. Hopefully it won’t be much longer for you guys🫶🫂

Haze87 · 01/08/2025 18:19

Awww congratulations

i Called this morning & the guy said it’s in date order so your claim proves it’s not
well done on getting what was deserved
shame we have to fight for it

Bossingit67 · 01/08/2025 19:16

Just marking my place. I have an MR in - scan date 13th Feb. I called today as it’s almost 25 weeks and they said still not with DM. Just wanna know now !!

Bossingit67 · 01/08/2025 19:18

It’s basically in ‘rough ‘ date order. I know for renewals it is usually done a week or so before even if you send the renewal in early. They had one of my children’s renewal for months and it was only done 1-2 weeks before renewal. I’m about to do another renewal but I’m not gonna rush it this time as it seems they rarely do them until just before

Yeahhh so long now
just hope the wait is worth it now for my daughter.
we shall see.
I’m sure you will hear sooner than me if they have escalated yours.
I asked today and they said it’s not possible to escalate I just have to wait 😒

Any COCs been awarded from February? 😊

Sophhiiee89 · 02/08/2025 17:00

My original SD was the 4/12/2024
My MR is 14/05/2025 as they rejected my daughter due to her being able to walk to a taxi for school 😳🤔. So I gathered all my evidence with all her other needs x

Exactly the same for us! Scan date was 09/04 and awarded a couple of weeks back!

BoysMammy · 02/08/2025 19:36

New Claim - they forms received back 12/07. Not sure of scan date

Originally applied 22/01, didn’t receive a letter/text to state they’d received forms but they sent my sons change of name deed back to me with an acknowledgment slip so thought nothing of it. Called on 2nd May to see if there were any update and was informed they’d actually lost my forms🥲was sent more forms to restart and was informed to add a letter explaining DLA office had lost the original forms so my claim needs to be backdated to January if awarded. Will this actually be done or am I being fobbed off? This is an awful wait when Ive sent the forms back once already! X

s39 · 02/08/2025 19:39

Anyone receive a text today? Apparently DMs were working the weekend to catch up on backlog…!
