Im waiting now 1 week since applying for the backdate of the uc elements.
I've decided to scrap carers allowance altogether.

Think im going to be brave and give them a call today. I called once before to see if they received extra evidence and rhe man spunded like he couldnt wait to get me off the phone

Yeah it’s been pretty fast - I thought it was going to be the long game for us and we would have to put in for a MR but they accepted the extra evidence and upped the care rate!

Right so.. the lovely lady I spoke to told me that they had an email stating they won't be told what dates r being worked on and all they can day is if the claim is the right place for when a DM gets to that date x

But its crazy how April's mayb may but people in feb and march waiting lol

Yes backpay is received 3-5 days after decision is made letter takes 7-10 days x

I did my COC early February and still heard nothing was told it was going to be 28 weeks and now they’re telling people it’s 30 week wait 😩

I informed UC 3 weeks ago, my children were verified two weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything since 😔

Mines the same my son was verified and the carers was verified then I had my statements updated including the benefit cap removed and recalculated but no child disability was included and not sure when they backpay from when all this is done will be payed and its annoying Because thye dont reply

phoned up this morning and still saying the same still in queue waiting for DM
and no timeframe 😩

Hi, just managed to speak to them COC 26/03. I just sent extra evidence yesterday, the guy told me that is not with a Case manager yet and just to ring back in 10 days to check if they added it to my claim. Also mentioned that they are not allowed to give time scales anymore.

Just got off the phone and it's now with a case officer but I have extra evidence so they are gonna let me send that in and look at it all and then make a decision
