The DM hasn't looked at my 19/3 claim again yet (declined 28/6). A Email was sent over with his extra evidence that was put under my other sons claim yesterday and she's going to chase it up to make sure they have recieved it.
Nothing on my sons 26/3 claim yet

Edited

I hope it gets sorted soon for you.🤞. It’s the 26/3 with a DM yet?

Took 20 mins but I got through. They’ve received the additional evidence I sent last week. At the moment it’s still with the decision maker 😭 the wait is horrible.

Hoping that you hear soon :)

No the 26/3 isn't with anyone yet. The 19/3 one took 14 weeks 3 days for a decision. It was a , on the notes they didn't even bother contacting his school. They just said there's no medical evidence then went onto the next claim. I sent his jades pathway acceptance letter with along with his reduced timetable from school with my other sons BC that they requested. That's why it was with my others sons claim. Hopefully they will look at it properly now. I asked him tonput a note on the email asking them to also contact my sons school for verification as his on a reduced time table and is in special Ed class most of the time due to getting over stimulated.

Oh ok. Hopefully all will be sorted by the end of next week.🤞

Morning all, for those that have contacted your local MPs, what did you say? I’ve been contemplating it for months after someone I know told me to do it but I just don’t have a clue what to say and can they really make a difference?

I want to try as well to write my mp and dont know how to procede

Lcd93 · 02/07/2025 16:43

Does anyone know the wait time for coc? Seen people write 25+ weeks but ive just got a letter saying its taking 11 weeks.

ThatCalmAquaHelper · 02/07/2025 16:45

NC SD 20/03 - declined yesterday. One of the reasons was because my son is polite! I then asked to do a MR and they said I had to wait until I got my letter. So thats me in for the long haul. There are things that have been said in their statement of reasons that completely contradict what I have written. Its like they havent read the form at all.

Too polite?! How ridiculous. Did you send in a lot of evidence?

Not really - only had his ASD report but they have ignored things I said in my forms. He has been referred to a sleep clinic now so at least I will have more evidence to send with my MR

Jane275 · 02/07/2025 18:46

hi I phoned this afternoon noon , they told me they had made a decision on the 30th May… I spoke to a case worker and he said they could tell me as they was locked out as they’re finalising it. He told me he couldn’t say if she was awarded or not but to check the bank in 3-5 days if nothings there than most likely she hasn’t. It seems strange it’s been a whole month? But he did say it’s normal and there’s lots of stages to go through. Has anyone else had this ? They received it end of February

Oh I’m sorry that’s so frustrating. I’m the same scan date - 20/3 and the only thing I sent in was his ADHD referral. I’m not feeling too optimistic. Don’t know whether to call tomorrow.

Worth a call. If it is a no then at least you know and if its positive than thats even better :) good luck!!!

I dont think they do even read the forms, they just skim through the evidence. MRs were introduced so that when they decline them (or give the wrong awards) once they then decline the MR (which something like 70% of people wont succed with an MR) the claimant will be drained and not bring it to tribunal because something like 80% win at tribunal. That was there whole point in introducing MRs and I think its absolutely disgusting and shouldn't be allowed at all
