it’s a joke honestly!! coc’s were fine up until i hit about 23 weeks and then all of a sudden theres been huge delays, i hate calling because i feel like i’m badgering but at the same time i’ve been waiting for ages and the anxiety i’ve got right now is dreadful🙃 they said they’d text but i believe some people aren’t receiving them xx

im going to call them this morning and see whats happening today, see if they recieved my childs birth certificate and additional evidence. I was in queue for DM hopefully its progressed

Morning SD 11/03 NC. woken up to back pay today, it's only been 14 weeks, I'm gobsmacked. sent birth certificate about 10 days ago. 3 year old, no diagnosis but lots of evidence from complex needs SALT, Lang & play, ND assessment report. Awarded MRC. His older brother is on HRC & LRM with ASD, GDD, dx and genetics testing so maybe that helped. Good luck everyone still waiting x

Has anyone else had updates on uc? My kids (1 dla 1 not) were verified on 11th June but not heard anything else i have messaged twice since then but still nothing?

Interesting, my scan date is 26/03 was expecting to wait until the end of July!

I put in my MR after being declined. It’s a 25 week wait but I’ve seen it taking a lot longer which is crazy.

i don’t feel very hopeful about it because I submitted the same evidence, just highlighted the parts that contradict their reasons for declining him!

what date are they currently on for MRs to give me an idea of when mine might be looked at? After a 22 week wait for a decline the first time around it’s like Groundhog Day over here!

I just rang and the lady sounded fed up of having to talk to people. but as a call handler, this is your job. I sent the birth certificate last week wednesday along with hospital letters-diagnosis report from consultant and a copy of her prescription, I thought they would have got it by now.

She asked if i sent it first class or recorded delivery and I then informed her that I sent it by the envelope that they provided as well as additional information. she gave me the same spiel as the other person, how it takes 2 weeks to upload onto the system and to wait two more weeks. yet the person i spoke to on monday said call back Friday 27th and it will probable be on there then. I then asked if I can have an update on the progress of my dc claim and she said its in a queue to be looked at , eh!!!!!! this is why other people on this thread say that they tell you different things!!!
I asked sorry, its in a queue to be looked at and she said yes by case manager and they will make the decision by October?????
i thought it goes in this order

-scanned on to system
-waiting queue for case manager
-with case manager
-waiting queue for decision maker
-with decision maker
-payment team

am i wrong????
anyway she said it hasnt even been looked at, yet the other chap the other day said it has been looked and is in the holding queue for dm. yet she says holding queue for case manager, and they make the decision.... you what!!!! then she said youre in an october queue.... what the hell, 25 weeks is september since my scan date of 01-04

just goes to show different people say different things and you get rushed off the phone.
dont feel like calling back now to next week, its strange. one says one thing and another one says something else.
i was excited, now my excitements died down a bit.

happy to see the other awards however, amazing some were just 12 and 14 weeks.

It seems pointless calling to be honest, they all say different things it's ridiculous. I'm going by awards and they seem to average around 15-17 weeks at the moment. I'll call around 15 to see if my sons been awarded yet but that's it. I don't think most of them bother checking

Can confirm it’s completely pointless calling! I started ringing at 18 weeks was told different things every time. Declined at 22 weeks and they had told me no decision was made when I was calling even after the date the decision was made!

they would also tell me evidence wasn’t scanned on when it was, and that it was with a decision maker then it wasn’t.

if you can be patient it’s definitely better to just wait it out but I’d see people on here saying just called and got my decison! And it would make me call again haha!

DM & case manager are the same thing, different call handlers use the terms interchangeably.

They never scanned on a bunch of my extra evidence (scanned on the birth certificate in the same envelope though..) so definitely keep chasing that until they tell you it’s scanned on! I just resent all mine by special signed for yesterday and can see it was delivered this morning
