I’m 11/12 awfully long wait they are flying through new claims too x

Hi, new here.
my SD was 2/4 just wondering if any is similar with me? And if it’s been declined/awarded yet.

I doubt very much I will be eligible as it’s for suspected adhd/autism but only have evidence from friends and family. Referal made by GP as school don’t see a lot but she is clearly masking. If anyone is going to mess this up it’s going to be the school. Do thy contact school or will the contact my ‘supporting evidence’

Hi, I’m NC SD 25/3 not heard anything yet.
at least a couple of weeks minimum I think.
similar to you my DC is high masking so worried too about evidence. Do have a community paediatrician and on melatonin but I’m not sure that is still proof of nighttime needs.

Mine was 28th feb but mentions no backpay on the letter just says from 2nd july so guessing upped it from then

They should of backdated it from 28th Feb that's strange l would definitely ring up might made a mistake l got backdated three days after it was awarded, yeah you need to know what date the change happened for uc, mine took three weeks to sort with uc but sometimes can take longer uc have to verify it best get date right hope get sorted!

Does everyone normally get backdated on renewals then if it goes up? Or can they just start the higher award from a new date?

Yeah that's what l thought does happen think depends when put the form in usually goes by your scan date because that's when start the change if it goes higher did you say on form when change happened that's what l done!

If the GP have made a referral you could ask the receptionist at the doctor's to print you out a summery of that and that is evidence too ,my sd is 04.04 and not heard anything yet hope this helps x

Forms was back on 28th February and he went from mrc to hrc on the forms

my renewal finished on 27th so two days ago and on the letter says from 28th june and then mentions 2nd july its so confusing

It is saying that you have been re awarded from 28th June ( when renewal is due to start ) but payments for hrc will start on 2nd July because the week 25th June to 1st July will still be mrc as its changed within the award week. Back pay isn’t usually received with renewals because the claim carries on if re awarded. Some get a little back pay if there renewal went over from needing to top up the last payment. Hope this helps

Being brutally honest. its highly highly unlikely you'll be awarded with no professional evidence. Schools also cant say what they dont see if theyre not seeing the behaviours they cant evidence them

Yeah I know I think I’ll be declined but still given it a go - but senco helped me fil out referal to take back to gp ect. So I don’t know if they are seeing things but not enough to refer through school. Very confused with school if I’m honest. Communication is shocking x

We have like S+L reports and stuff but at school she’s a completely different child

Have you sent the reports off? Id also ask the senco for a copy of the referral information that shes sent

Hello i would like to ask about something that im not sure xxx SD10/12/2024
i had call today from DLA department doing my decision x the gentleman told me they need more evidence regarding my sons walking as my son born with brain knjury lack of oxygen Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy grande 2
and also had autism assessment still waiting for diagnosis, speak and language therapy that he seeing , and i have a evidence from health visitor last year 2024 but that was supporting letter for housing , but the helth visitor described and said everything regarding my sons walking behaviour and motor skills and stuff, and my question is for all of you if you can give me a advice, is it good evidence to send to dla ? Sorry for long typing just want to be sure just want my decision been done 😩 just wanted ti send this health visitor letter off tomorrow xx thanks for anyone replying x

If its with the DM and theyve ranf you its likely theyve made decision today, unless you told them to hold off because you've had extra evidence

No they sayid they will make a decision after the letter thats why i asked if the letter is ok to send xx

they have the s+l report. I am waiting for physio report then that will be posted and I rang gp to get them to print me all of the referal stuff so as soon as I have physio report it will be sent together (referal does have stuff from school aswell) school basically said they don’t have enough evidence to refer her through the school but they will 100% support referal through gp. Down here where I live school referals have changed a lot. Hopefully with the supporting evidence from family and friend aswell it may be enough but I can hope x
