I also just sent some more things in last week, along with the birth certificate they requested and I sent in clinical letters, prescriptions along with the diagnosis report. When I spoke with DLA yesterday, he said thats fantastic you sent in that and was told I was in the queue for DM. Im going to ring back in again on Friday to see if they have received it. How long did you wait before you got the decline?? and how long have you been waiting for the MR??

My original scan date was 19th June, got declined 13th December. MR was received 31st December so 25wks on Friday for MR x

Yeh I sent in quite a few extra pages with MR, a full double side a4 piece of paper just with professionals involved with my son such as the surgeons, cardiologist and tumour specialists etc. i will be very surprised if he is declined again considering how much stuff I’ve sent in. Thank you, hopefully all our kids get the outcomes they deserve xx

Abit of a strange one for you, on FB this morning a lady has put up a screen shot of her bank with afew hundred in from the dla she's confused as she knows it take months to do, it must of gone straight to a DM bless her thats the quickest one ive seen. she wrote -

Hi I applied for DLA for my child. Scan date 23rd may. Just received this in bank havet a clue why?? Anyone help me?

That’s a fast turnaround she must of been awarded mrc/hrc if she has a couple 100 after 3 weeks of SD

Scan date 11/2 renewal 22/6
rang last week told by 2 people it’s with dm then rang again and told by another 2 it’s not 🤦‍♀️ alls I keep getting told is it will be done by 22/6 meanwhile I’ve seen people whose renewals due in August have already been done! It’s so frustrating xx

Does everyone get asked to send in birth certificate?
I have more supporting documents to send but im worried I won't have the time to send them now. Do you think I should send it?

I don't think waiting times count with renewals, they've told afew people that they just wait until it's due to run out then do it as they prioritise the new claims.

The call handlers just seem to tell people anything to get them off the phone. It's so annoying as you can't get a straight answer 😒 hope you get a great outcome

I got asked for my sons afew weeks ago and sent extra evidence with it, make sure you send it signed delivery. I recieved my sons back 2 days after they got it.

That’s so strange, when I spoke to them it said it can take a little time for system to update everything so that could be the reason why nothing has came up yet x

Honestly these people have no clue I got through to someone who said they don't know anything and it's a 25 week wait! I said it's 26 weeks tomorow they just oh just wait 🤬🤬

Tribunal for me SIGHS! She kept her HRC but still no mobility! Went down SMI but they said she can walk & run as that’s what EHCP says. Yes she can walk and run but she doesn’t understand danger and will just run straight into the road, tries to climb out the window? Has to be in pushchair 24/7 or reigns and they said doesn’t meet criteria for VUW even though applied under SMI. I don’t think they read it tbh. Weird because I got HRC with no evidence sent over 60 pages and nothing!!

I honestly don’t know what they get paid for some of the people are so unhelpful “computer says nooo” attitude!

Rang this morning so they’ve told me it’s with a case worker, renewal 22/6 the wait is so bad 😩 I have sent plenty of evidence off but you just don’t know with these people xx

Hopefully won't be long now it's so nerve wracking waiting hope have good outcome sure you will l felt like this with mine, with it being my first one mine was 20th June such relief when it's done. x

im in two minds what to do if to call or just wait til Friday and call then as it’s with a dm I have asked for a text but they said it depends if the dm has the facility to do this 😫

We have just been awarded, hrc lrm until 2030 so glad the wait over. Still waiting on sons renewal
