Your sister had a April new claim? That's mad they've only just started getting into the March ones. Did they even bother looking at her evidence? It's starting to worry me that it's just a quick yes/no to get through the back log 🤔

Good luck. Someone on fb has a child with one leg amputated above the knee. With her renuewl she went from hrc hrm to nothing.. it's really annoying me now people arnt getting what they should be. It's like their just rolling a dice 😕. Let us know how you get on. What's your sd?

im very confused
they said they still havent recieved it yet which makes me now worry those important hospital letters and diagnosis report and hospital prescription, and the birth certificate that they requested. Im just scared it been lost and now we will have to fork out for a new birth certificate and send all over again. So frustrating.

So person 1 last week said : takes 2 weeks to arrive and upload on system
and its been looked at by case worker and is in a queue for the decision maker

person 2 end of last week said : they still havent got it and it takes 2 weeks to arrive and to call back next week. and it hasnt been looked at yet and case manager and decision maker are same person,

today person 3 said : they still havent got it and can take 3 weeks to upload to the system, and that it has been looked at by case manager and is in the queue for decision maker.

as nice as she was, i felt unimportant and did not get my questions answered.
so im going to call back friday and see if they have it. very frustrating

My wonderful husband has already said, i think they have made the decision on the claim and all they want now is to verify her with the birth certificate. Im hoping hes right and that we will hear soon. Its just very nerve wracking. Im also very worried my birth certificate etc has been lost in the post. Its all very worrying.

It's disgusting she's doing an MR but we all know how long those take 🥺. It breaks my heart

They asked for my sons BC weeks ago. I sent it next day delivery and I recieved it back 2 days later. It's just to help verify the child they do it with alot of them. His sd is 26/3.
I called afew weeks after to see where his claim was and they said its just sat in a que waiting for a DM to pick it up.

Oh wow that's quick too! Sometimes it's a day or afew weeks it just depends on schools ect getting back to them. Maybe there's not alot of a back log in your area. Where abouts are you?

I'm guessing so. They have offices all over it would explain why the dates jump around so much rather than in date order. There's people still waiting from feb but yet their mostly March awards atm

Me and my sister are in essex an hers was 16 weeks to the day and that's with back pay in her account so I'm wondering if mine will be the same. I'm 14 weeks on Wednesday 🤞

Yes, and you would think when it gets to the decision maker, you are nearing the finishing line!!!
Sometimes it can sit with a decision maker for weeks.
AND sometimes they don't even call places like hospitals, schools, camhs etc, if they have suffice evidence they process claims then as well. I have heard of people who have had their claims awarded with little to no evidence as well as no proper formal diagnosis. I've sent everything I can and when you google what my dc disease is, it is lifelong, hopefully all evidence will be suffice. My husband and I have totally agreed its its LRC, we will MR and if its a decline then MR again.

I am totally in shock and quite profoundly disgusted with the child who was amputated to go from HRC and mobility to nothing!!! outrageous.

I sent loads more evidence last week by special delivery, had photo evidence of delivery on tracking the day after. Rang the day after that (2 days after posting) and they told me they’d scanned 33 pages onto the claim so was done fairly quickly. I’d try and get a replacement BC now in case they have lost it so your ready to re-send and your not delayed any longer
