yes it was, i’m 28+5 today rang this morning and it was with dm and then got the text at 12:30 xx

I had my statement back and it had disabled child and carrers part on the statement my daughter hasn’t been verified by uc but I got a message on my journal saying there sending it to a decision maker to see if I can get back pay on it let me know when your statement comes in x

I have 4 children 1 dla 3 not the only ones verified where the ones that have not got dla

Awwh that's good hopefully be sorted for you now, l have just phoned them to chase it up and she said it will be done soon and said wait for message on my journal said all been done right and l will be backdated and ask if my payments would be add to high rate care and she said it could be done this month l will update you, x

See that’s weird because I know another lady on here was waiting for a decision to come back on backdate and she also didn’t get her child verification until they backdated the to the start of the dla claim

Weird because only phoned them like 30mins ago and just been done did say on my journal needs to be done by 19th June ready for my statement on 22nd June, l think because your others been verified it's gone through OK. x

I’ve just posted some more evidence. NC SD 25/3 when has everyone else rang to chase? Do I need to check they’ve scanned them on? I’ve rang today but they refused to look and make a note I was sending more evidence in!

Most of them should get different jobs. Their ment to be helpful but they just seem so fed up and annoyed all the time 🙄 they tell you anything just to get off the phone

Don’t they! I’m more worried they don’t know I’m sending info in if it’s not scanned for 2 weeks or so and they don’t get it in time

Congratulations on your award, what a long wait, surely they can see the rates if they can see a back payment on there screen, I don’t know why some of them are so annoying about telling us rates.

called this morning as they still haven’t received the extra evidence and they’ve taken the information from me over the phone but I didn’t have the appointment date just that it’s due next month.phoned camhs and they’ve just sent me a text with the appointment time and date.
so I called Dla back and gave them the information over the phone time and date of the appointment as the dm is actively looking at the claim and the call handler sent the information straight over to the dm

so fingers crossed now

called today and they said it's with a DM. I asked what date it went to DM, replied it doesn't say the date and it could take 25 weeks blah blah... 😑 not sure now what is the truth. 15 weeks today.

So they can take note of the info you’re sending? lll call back tomorrow. What’s your SD and are you a new claim? Thanks

Similar situation here. Our SD is 13/03, DS has an autism diagnosis but at the end of May he was also diagnosed with dyspraxia and prescribed melatonin. I still don’t have the report from this appointment because it’s not been typed yet. So I rang DLA and they took down all the details of the appointment (date/location) and the details of the melatonin prescription. They’ve added a note to the claim in case I don’t manage to send them the report before it gets to a decision maker.

Also just for info - I asked if he wants me to send proof of blue badge that we’ve been awarded over the last week and he said sending in blue badge details is pointless and the decision maker doesn’t regard this as evidence when making the decision because the criteria varies for a blue badge between different councils so they aren’t allowed to take it into account. (Not sure if this is definitely true but that’s what I was told by whoever I spoke to at DLA!)

I'd ring every morning. Most awards are now from 15-16 weeks from what I've seen. My sisters was spot on 16 weeks with backpay in her account. Good luck keep us updated 🤞

I’m waiting on 2, a NC SD 06/03 and a renewal which was due to end on 06/06 and forms sent last minute 🫣 SD 03/06

Apparently so I didn’t even know myself that they could do that.

I don’t even know what to do I don’t if to call back and see if a decision has been made or wait it out. I explained how much he needs this as it’s costing over 200 pound per month on taxis to school and back and then it’s cost more for his appointments to get to these as he’s really struggling with walking and it’s unfair with how little help he’s getting at the moment and she said she’ll pass the info onto the dm

It is so annoying I could literally scream down the phone to them x
