I was just about to ask about this as ive just updated my UC for his dla and Carers too but I wasn't sure about asking for them to back date it x

Make sure when u write on your journal about back pay u put the message under payments and not work coach

@OneSparklyFawn i had a phone call about 3 weeks ago off a DM they ask me questions said about with my daughter being under 5 she will not receive mobility IF I was awarded so if I appealed it that would be the reason .
He said he would make his decision by end of day,
called a day later and they needed her birth certificate.
I sent that off nearly 3 weeks ago and heard nothing since .
rang every other day to see if they had it they just keep saying no and call back

so on the phone now on hold to speak to disputes and escalations team as I sent some documents in on Wednesday quite a lot over 15 pages. Thought let me see if they have received and uploaded. The lady just told me it’s been uploaded onto my account by mistake not my daughters!!! I don’t know what account of mines it was uploaded on but I’m glad I called. It’s now been moved to her case file. Also asked about what dates there on for MR she said 25/11 unless you’ve not provided enough evidence or complex cases which need further investigation. She said I’ve provided a lot so I should hear back next week or the following week at the latest. So let’s wait and see! MR 03/12. Told her I won’t be calling until next Friday

NC SD 24.02 called this morning to check extra evidence was received and scanned on, the lady confirmed this has been received and put on the system but she said it hasn’t been assigned to a decision maker yet. Seems like I have a long wait.

NC scan date 5th of feb I’ve just contacted them has my school have now offered some more evidence to send and the man told me to send it and not to call back until the 15th of August has it is taking up to 27 weeks 😩 after reading everyone else’s I really thought I would hear soon but don’t look likely

Your scan date is 3 days before mine. I haven’t rang yet, but think I’m going to ring this afternoon and just ask for an update.

I’m on hold to them now, it’s so deflating when they keep moving the goal posts. Will let you know if I get told the same.

Yeah it is but from what I’ve read everyone is getting told different things and people with scan dates that are after mine have allready been seen to which makes me happy to see because everyone waits so long just wish mine could be dealt with too lol

@Vickymumof3 let us know how you get on, it does seem mixed with the dates, I just worry the longer it takes the more it’s likely to be declined especially as my youngest got declined for hers a year ago and I had to do a MR just to get LRC I am not holding out hope for this NC for my eldest.

Just spoke to a case manager, currently on the 26th/27th for MR dates my claim is currently waiting to go with a DM. Should definitely be on December by end of next week x

@Victoria52308 @Kirsty19922025 just got off the phone and I’ve just been told mine isn’t even with a decision maker yet and not to expect to hear anything until the 25 weeks is up and even then it could still exceed the 25weeks 🤦‍♀️ hopefully this is just what they are told to say and we all hear something back much sooner x

NC scan date 22/01

still nothing! Sent extra evidence recorded delivery signed for by them Tuesday morning and it still isn’t uploaded.

no decision made and it’s been with a decision maker since mid may.

i honestly want to cry at this point.

It’s so stressful just trying to get what our kids deserve and are entitled to, especially when they didn’t ask to have additional needs. My youngest has just been referred to portage so I’ll be putting in a NC for him soon, and undergoing more stress and anxiety whilst I wait for news on his claim x

Yes we are 19th Feb but not heard a thing

My decision was made yesterday on hold now for someone who can tell me the decision feel sick. Have a feeling it’s a decline

Feel sick. He’s been awarded hrc , no mobility as he is only 3. So happy. Thanks for all the help and advice guys and good luck to everyone still waiting.

Yeah fingers crossed we all hear back soon it honestly just seems like luck to who gets looked at first I just know my son would really benefit from extra help good luck to everyone

My SD is 7/3 NC is there any other march dates on here…seen a few 3/3 get awarded but I haven’t heard anything yet and I won’t be calling, 13 weeks today
