I’m gunna give. Them a call tomorrow and see what happening then got me worried now

So sorry to hear that 😞 but don't give up.I have seen some rejection that because HRC after MR or apeal.

its been 51 weeks in total and I’ve lost all hope.
does anyone know that if the school are contacted and they state that they don’t help with dla claims will this have an impact on their decision.
I’ve sent in his SEN/learning plans from school. Proposed EHCP Plan, ed physiologist report, wait list for Autism Assessment (4year wait) and a letter from doctor supporting their agreement for the assessment.

I didn't know school could say that. Did they give reasons why they don't deal with dla?x

I asked them to fill in the form originally and they said no they don’t help with dla claims. Then when it was declined dla said it was due to the school so when I asked them if they were contacted by dla they said no but if they had been they wouldn’t have provided anything and they don’t for anyone DLA claims. Which is annoying as I’ve spent months and months running in circles to get them the info needed for my child’s EHCP so they can get extra funding for him while there. They even asked for funding for stuff that I provide the school with. Which yes helps my child while in school but it’s just annoying.

I am sorry they didn't help. It's really a shame and annoying too.

The least shool could do for a child that needs help more than their peers, is to support.

Can I ask if you let dla know the school dont do that. So they don't have to contact them at all.
Though it helps when school back up but it doesn't mean it will be negative .

Do u know if it’s normal for them to verify the ones not on dla and not the one on dla

they will still pay you if its not done in time just wont add elements on till its verified, x

Hey hun I’ve seen a few of the lady’s on here have all these children verified even the one with the dla have they verified your child yet who gets dla and aslo when did you get a message about backdate I’ve had nothing

What I don’t understand is why haven’t they verified my daughter as they where the ones who asked me to do change of circumstances again as I put in the award date and not the date she got awarded from so I did now she’s not been verified so confusing

Just think its takes longer for them verify ones on DLA l was only awarded last Thursday, but dont understand it really because when changed over to uc they verified one with dla first and was done that same day but lady said takes time sometimes,x

Really is confusing l would ring them back tomorrow,x

I have asked uc and they have told me there is no timescale. Absolutely ridiculous. More waiting

Don’t ring them do it through the journal so you have proof of asking in case you need to make a complaint

After being told yesterday it was pending a decision to be told today that it’s not even with a decision maker. I think at this point they just say whatever just to get us off the phone 🤷🏼‍♀️

whats werid is they have verified my children without dla but haven’t verified my daughter who has been awarded dla

Yeah l done mine in my journal last Thursday,just rang them today see if it was done right but still havent had it verified seen people getting there done in a day or 3 to 4 days l had message today saying cant backdate it till its been verified, x

I have been silently watching, my scan date for Nc was 20/2. Sent extra evidence last Thursday 60 pages from my sons school, called Monday and they had received it and I thought I would just call today for an update and a decision was made yesterday and he was awarded Dla. So things can change quickly.

So was. They all verified together or just the one that gets dla ?

My statement coming tomorrow and have no update they said I may get the newer rate but who knows but said it'll all get backdated regardless xx
