Please feel free to add your scan date and whether it's a new claim/mandatory reconsideration/change of circumstances or renewal.
New claims (NC) - people are being told the wait time has increased to 25 weeks! I would say most are done before this though around the 20 week mark?
Mandatory reconsideration (MC) and Change of circumstances (COC) is around 20-25 weeks.
Renewals tend to be between 15-20 weeks.
If you disagree with the outcome of an MR you can appeal and go to court (tribunal)
Scan date is the date DLA scan your application forms on to their system, if you downloaded your application forms then this will be from when your award will be backdated from. If you called up for forms then the date on those is the date yours will be backdated from.
If successful and claiming universal credit (UC) please update them as this will entitle you to disabled child element adding extra to your award.

I'm over it now. I've got ADHD and in my head because of the letter saying 15 weeks I'd given it until 15 weeks. I hate not knowing 😒 🤣🤣

Oh I know I'm ADHD and the exact same my heads doing overtime and if you're like me, just the most impatient person ever 🤣🤣

It's more the fact that we are all waiting anxiously, being told diff things etc and in the end it could be a decline. Horrible.

Does anyone know how long it's with the decision maker before they had a decision 20 weeks this week it's been with decision maker since last Wednesday x

Mines been with decision maker 4 weeks think I depends on weather nc or mr and the decision maker it's 1 of them questions you can't get an answer 2 🙄

For all those who have had declines and MR decline don’t give up, I applied in 2020 for my child he was declined did a MR was also declined I applied again weeks later and he was awarded indefinitely with highest rate. The reason he was rejected was due to my lack of knowledge on how to fill in the forms. If you know your child needs it and it will benefit them don’t give up keep pushing

It's been horrible waiting the full time never thought I'd be over 24 weeks waiting least I'll know either way by Thursday can't wait 4 it to be over good luck with yours 😊

I was going to call today to see if any decision had been made over the weekend but I’m worried about calling too much and honestly I would cut off the call if it was someone rude😂

24 weeks 3 days. Still not heard anything.

Every time I call I get told something different or they can’t tell me anything😂 I’m normally quite patient but they called me on the 7th of March to confirm bank details where correct and their words where “for the money to go into”, so I was assuming oh a decision has been made as it was with a decision maker on the 4th of March but nope still heard nothing🙈X

I got told nothing when I called 2 weeks ago. I might ring and see what drivel they tell me this time 🤣🤣

I called last Wednesday so I’ll call tomorrow🙈

Hopefully they don't change and say it's going to be longer they originally gave me 15 weeks then changed it to 25 how longs yours been with dm x

Caved and called again - MR 23 wks and 3 days.... still no decision. 😭

I just called them, still the same but he said I should hear very soon and to wait on decision letter. To make sure he asked if I had access to my bank after they called on the 7th to confirm bank details and I said yes and he said well you shouldn't be waiting much longer🤷🏽‍♀️

Just on the phone and a decision has been made.. just transferring me to discuss it...

I’m 18 weeks today and I have heard nothing, no texts, call or letters. The wait is causing me sleepless nights!
