Please feel free to add your scan date and whether it's a new claim/mandatory reconsideration/change of circumstances or renewal.
New claims (NC) - people are being told the wait time has increased to 25 weeks! I would say most are done before this though around the 20 week mark?
Mandatory reconsideration (MC) and Change of circumstances (COC) is around 20-25 weeks.
Renewals tend to be between 15-20 weeks.
If you disagree with the outcome of an MR you can appeal and go to court (tribunal)
Scan date is the date DLA scan your application forms on to their system, if you downloaded your application forms then this will be from when your award will be backdated from. If you called up for forms then the date on those is the date yours will be backdated from.
If successful and claiming universal credit (UC) please update them as this will entitle you to disabled child element adding extra to your award.

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm just praying we finally get it as don't think my anxiety will cope with a tribunal or whatever the next step is 😪 Really hope you get a positive outcome! X

Is yours an mr?? Mine is I'm 24 weeks and 3 days sc 26th September so they got till Thursday hopefully we get some luck this week fingers crossed for you

called a couple of weeks ago to be told its with decision maker, called back end of last week to be told its not and its still in a que, has anyone else had this? Im really worried it will be declined as i dont have loads of evidence, health visitor wouldnt help so the only evidence i have is jigaws report, speech therapy and referal letter for asd. Has anyone been awarded with little evidence?

I called on wednesday just to make sure they had received/scanned on further evidence i had sent. Whilst on the phone i asked if there was an update which was it was not with a decision maker yet, but it was in the holding queue. Not sure what that means.

Also can i ask please how do people know they have a pending payment?

I was told the same that it’s in a que, by the looks of how long it’s taking for other people I think we’re looking around late April/may

I'm 8/11 so I'm thinking it'll be the next 1-2 weeks for me. It's just gone 18 weeks.

Yeah, MR 4th October. I'm just getting more anxious by the day and now thinking I've still not sent enough proof in. My child has ADHD and some mental health issues and I just think it's really hard to quantity and evidence and now I'm second guessing everything. REALLY praying for some news this week! You should definitely hear this week, will you ring tomorrow or just wait?

Alot of the recent claims end of oct, beginning of Nov are being done between 18-19 weeks so fingers crossed a few more weeks and we will have outcomes x

It's all so stressful and iv been ring the last few weeks been with dm 4 4 weeks I'll ring tomorrow and update on here good luck 👍

NC SD 21/10
mine was with decision maker on the 4th March, I’ve called a few times since then and they’ve gave me different answers. I received a call from them on the 7th March to confirm bank details and they said it was for the money to go into. I still haven’t had a letter or a payment and I last called Wednesday last week and they couldn’t tell me anything.
Evidence i sent:
Report from 1st appointment with the paediatrician that says they are moving forward with assessing for autism.
3 speech and language appointment letters
Report from occupational therapist after I had a phone call appointment with them.
Health visitor and social works number as they made the referral.
That was all I had at the time, I’m waiting to see if it gets awarded and sending late evidence in as I have a lot more evidence but I’ve only received it in the last week from nursery, educational psychologist and paediatrician has just prescribed melatonin. We have a follow up appointment for diagnosis in 2 weeks so I’ll have report from that too. Hoping to hear something this week.

Same!!! Been with DM for weeks and weeks now. I'm sure there's some logic but I'm really struggling to understand why MRs take so long to deal with. It's horrific. Best of luck for tomorrow for you getting some good news, hopefully a decision has been made this weekend 🙌

20 weeks tomorrow and nothing :( called 2 weeks ago, not with a DM yet. Called last Thursday, they said it was with a DM and just needed to confirm a few details so I was expecting to hear by Friday but no. Fingers crossed the last few of us still waiting from October get some news this week!

Mine will be 22 weeks tomorrow. NC 15.10.24. I don't understand why it is taking so long when they are getting close to December dates. I see people saying it depends whose desk it lands on, but in my opinion they shouldn't be moving onto a new month until all the previous month is done. I rang on 7th March and it was with a DM so I am assuming I am waiting for the decline letter. I don't want to ring again as I hate speaking on the phone 😂

I'd still ring can depend which dm it's with my sons is 4 adhd so I sent letters from paediatrician school reports ect they haven't requested anything extra either good luck 🙂

Me too, I'm 8/11 so currently 18 week and 3 days- not that I'm counting or anything 🤣

I rang at week 17 and they said it was with a DM but it had been since 8/11 and I was like erm... I'm sure you don't look at them everyday. Is it allocated? 🤣 couldn't tell me so I thanked them for their time and for reading their script word for word 🫣

Starting to worry they’ll stop our award which makes such a huge difference in being able to afford things for her.

I called last week to see if they needed anything and was told they still have 5/6 weeks and it won’t be looked at until the end. The wait continues… I don’t know what’s worse, waiting for a decision to be approved DLA or waiting to see if they’ll take it away 😂😩

I only waited a week was very quick for me! Uc seem to be more on the ball than DLA are.
