Please feel free to add your scan date and whether it's a new claim/mandatory reconsideration/change of circumstances or renewal.
New claims (NC) - people are being told the wait time has increased to 25 weeks! I would say most are done before this though around the 20 week mark?
Mandatory reconsideration (MC) and Change of circumstances (COC) is around 20-25 weeks.
Renewals tend to be between 15-20 weeks.
If you disagree with the outcome of an MR you can appeal and go to court (tribunal)
Scan date is the date DLA scan your application forms on to their system, if you downloaded your application forms then this will be from when your award will be backdated from. If you called up for forms then the date on those is the date yours will be backdated from.
If successful and claiming universal credit (UC) please update them as this will entitle you to disabled child element adding extra to your award.

Right there with you! This week is so difficult I think it's because when we applied week 18/19 was a common award week as 20 was the limit but they moved it to 25 now so we're left hanging after spending so long thinking around now would be our time! I put 20 weeks in my calendar

I constantly feel like I don't have enough evidence ornits not good enough or I haven't written good enough or I wrote to much

It's hard, the anxiety

19 weeks tomorrow. I am getting more and more worried, impatient and constantly feel sick, it’s an awful feeling! I always thought I’d be fine seeing people with scan dates later than mine get their decisions as I know they don’t stick to date order but how wrong was I 😂 don’t get me wrong I’m happy for them but my god it’s difficult!

I'm 30/8. I was getting super scared because Septembers are getting results. I wish u all the luck. Keep us updated please. This is such a scary process

Yeah, we’re pretty much the same as well getting quite anxious about it, she has a called a few times today and one person told me they’d actually lost so that was another 35 minute phone call with them telling them that they definitely received it and I had tracking and I had a letter from them! Seems as though they do anything to get off the phone

Whoop thank you everyone for keeping me going. I have been quiet but your messages have really helped. Our scan date was 3/9 so just over 20 weeks. How do I work out which rate we have received? I don't want to wait two weeks for a letter. I cried this morning, finally my child is getting recognised and the money can go to some much needed therapy for him.

divide what you got over 20 weeks ish. Or you can probrably call and find out through option 4.

I’m at week 21. It’s so nerve racking now. Last week Monday they said it was with case worker. And now I’m just sick to the stomach. I’m expecting a decline even though my son should def be expected. But it’s the only outcome I can think of for him and preparing for an appeal. Who knew this was such a terrible process

I've just seen two November dates on the FB group that I'm assuming were NC as not said otherwise. I just don't get how there's people waiting from August/September

You can’t be far off! They do like to say hasn’t been looked at and then you find it has. I don’t think they text for MR though, just have to call up

It’s not easy seeing dates after your own being done. @PositivityRipples was explains that the claims go out all over the country so one office could be on August another on September and so on 🤨

I rang option 4 when a decision had been made as the usual option said they couldn’t tell me

Ours took a week but we had Christmas in between

Have you called? Mine was 06/08 and decision made on 24/12. I find it hard to believe from then until now they haven’t moved to your date?
