Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐
New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated
UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case
number for an update 121-4600 0800 121-4600
currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

Woke up with a notification from the bank so I was sure today was the day, turned out Asda just owed me a 1p refund from my shop 😫

Just received payment into bank. Just under 20w (scan date 29/07). Think it's hrc and lrm. So relieved the process is done for now

Currently on hold, hopefully picked the right options to see if this payment I received today is because my boy has won his tribunal before it's even begun. I feel sick with nerves x

No change, no decision and can't escalate because they're now saying 25 weeks - it's a joke, you really couldn't make this up!

Just off the phone, tribunal has been lapsed. DLA have overturned their decision. Awarded HRC and HRM for my 3 year old til 2033.
Keep strong!! Keep up the fight, boss being the voice for your kids.

Hi, does anyone know what address you send extra evidence too? I've finally had the diagnosis letter after 3 months of waiting for it. SD 13/08, NC.

SD 22/08 NC. I have just rang DLA just to ask if they had received the evidence I sent Special Delivery. It arrived yesterday at 6am. I spoke to a Very polite chirpy lady that told me it had been scanned onto the system. The only other thing I asked was if I was down for text confirmation as well as post and she checked and said yes. I did not bother to ask for an Update as I know I could still have a wait, but hopefully by getting extra information In before they ask it won’t delay it further. Good luck to everyone Waiting

What address did you send yours to? I’m questioning myself now I know it’s been delivered I have photo evidence 🤣🤣 mine was received Wednesday and still not on the system yet!

Yeah. I had already sent in quite a bit with the claim, but Son’s SENCO had written a great supporting letter so thought I would get that in before they ask for further info as I know I still could have wait on my hands. She said it was received yesterday morning and is showing as scanned on the system. I hope your has been scanned on as you have had a long wait. Fingers crossed for good news for you

That’s excellent news! Gives me hope we will be going to tribunal if we need to. So pleased they overturned it for you without another huge wait
