NC SD 12/8 looks like there afew of us on or around this date x

PositivityRipples · 12/12/2024 19:57

@Ash900 I don't actually know what he meant i just said what month are you all working on as I've been reading a discussion online and people are being told 25-35 weeks, he sent laughing faces and said they have a deadline 22nd December for all claims for July to be done and closed. Also that new DMs are now assigned for Aug and Sept to condense the backlog..
I didn't ask him any futher details than that, but i would almost be certain that every claim upto the end of July is now with decision makers or being worked on awaiting HCP input or evidence from docs schools sen or telephone calls to claimants for any futher questions / discrepancys.. ( even if the call handlers are saying it's not with DM they actually don't know that, all they can see is notes on claims from DM or no notes they assume it isn't, which isn't true) so all the other DM just carry on moving through the dates cause all July claims already pending actions through DM and assigned.
Also for anyone else confused a case manager is not a DM, a case manager makes sure things are running smoothly and chases up any evidence, emails DM when new evidence is scanned onto a claim, they chase HCP for the DM, they chase school, sen or doctors evidence and they keep the DM informed, some of them call claimants for any questions. The final decision and say is the DMs..
But sometimes what happens is a DM will work on a claim and say if we can get a sen report then this claim will be awarded for example MRC LRM all I need is a sen report and they will pass that to a case manager the case manager gets the sen report and then allocates the award and backpay ( they are just doing what's instructed by the DM, the decision was still the dms if that makes sense)
It's crazy when I've read things on here that call handlers have told people that a DM and a case manager are the same thing 🤦🏻‍♀️
I'm sure the case manager wishes they was getting paid what the DMs are 😳🤣

I'm rooting for you @Kc1999x @SKB12 @MamaMoon3 @MyAquaMaker @Scc1991 @Tacsmumma and anyone I've missed waiting longer than me xxx

For those with July NC dates, I was awarded Tuesday, MRC LRM until 2030. Original scan date of 26/7. I was so worried it was a decline having seen some August dates being awarded so fingers crossed for everyone still waiting on a late July scan date.

Mummato3ad · 12/12/2024 21:31

24/07 sd, nc but had dla previously at hrc, lrm. Been told its with a DM, but anxiously waiting.

Logged tribunal. Dwp have til 17th to respond. Appealing for HRM for my 3yo through smi rule.
Just put message in thread 58 and promted me to check the tribunal portal and nothing has changed on there.

However, just checked my bank and there's a pending payment from dwp for a large sum. He isn't due his DLA til next Tuesday.
I'm assuming it's an overturn of the decision.
Do you think if I ring tomorrow someone would be able to tell me or would it be a total different department?
Feel sick and anxious with slight hope that my boy has won his rights against the dwp x

Thank you! Aww it's such a supportive group. Know what you mean about the hair, I swear less of mine came out in the shower tonight 🤣 The stress is terrible, they should blooming recognise that somehow!
Yes, tomorrow has got to be your day!🙏🏼😊 Will keep in thread and see how you do.
