Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐
New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated
UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case
number for an update 121-4600 0800 121-4600
currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

The same department should be able to tell you. Hope it’s been overturned rather than them wasting tribunals time on something your son deserves. Good luck, sounds positive

SD 30/7 - Told on Tuesday to expect a 25 week wait 😫

I'm same SD as you, I called Monday and they told me to call back next week if I haven't heard, so I'm hoping we slip through before Christmas! 🤞🏻

Woke up to a payment! 🥲 sc 26/07 exactly 20weeks today. When I rang Tuesday I was told it wasn’t even with a decision maker yet.
Praying the rest of you with similar scan dates and beyond hear something soon! xx

I woke up feeling a lot better today. Think I’ve just been letting this situation get to me so much🤦🏽‍♀️ I’ll probs be fuming again by later on😂

Man I'm happy for awards being done but honestly the out of date order regardless just rubs up wrong way fingers crossed yours gets done today or next week latest x

Im so happy for everyone being awarded, I know how much of a struggle it is for us as parents. But I can’t justify DLAs system and how they be working🤦🏽‍♀️ stresses me out for the day ahead. Got another weekend to get through also which isn’t helpful at all

Same here so happy for everyone but it's so disheartening when you see scan dates about 3 weeks after yours being completed. Makes you wonder how they can just leave ours to one side and work on different cases. Hoping for some positive news for us today but not holding my breath. I'll probably look forward to my conversation of 'its not been assigned yet but not long now'

Same here 😂😂 it's just soooo annoying when you know your going to get the same conversation you have had 100 times before. But there's always that one little voice in your head while your phoning saying today's the day. He soon goes away though and the feeling of anger comes back 😂

NC 19/07 awaiting documents to be scanned on before decision can me made drained is an understatement!

20 wks today!! Mine been with a decision maker for just over a wk.. Let's hope for some good news for us all with the same dates and still waiting. 🙄
