Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐
New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated
UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case
number for an update 121-4600 0800 121-4600
currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

Was minging to be fair and more productive than calling to hear same set lines 😂 if I don’t cave before I’ll call Christmas Eve, and go back to daily in Jan 😅

Waiting on a COC scan date 8th August but I think COC seem to be taking much longer than new claims

Yeah we’re probably best hopefully anyway then they have had practically another full day so 2 days hopefully it’s done 🤞🤞 I think I’m ever worse now knowing it’s very near the end lol anxiety through the roof! X

So far so good 😂 if it’s going to be a decline it’s better all round I hear in the new year then everywhere is open for me to crack on with tribunal. That’s my thought process 😆

Also South West 👋🏼 SD 31/07. Daughter got awarded last Thursday via text. Received back payment today!
So you could be due your decision anyday now.
Lingering to see other July folk get there decisions!

That’s what I was thinking also! From others I’ve noticed theirs has gone to a decision maker and had a decision within 48 hours!
and honestly my anxiety has got worse now, I feel physically sick knowing a decision maker has it x

28th of this month! Done a lot quicker than I expected. So fingers crossed for you xx

Yeah let’s hold out and see although I am struggling lol and it’s worse isn’t it thought it was just me but I am worse now I know she has my evidence really just be nice to have it over with this week either way I’m expecting a decline and will just go from there x

Is anyone around this date that has been awarded, I called up and they told me 25weeks till I get an answer, however I've been seeing people on FB being awarded around this date. I'm currently 19 weeks today

never felt like it before, this one person making a decision about my child without even knowing my child, just reading off of a piece of paper🤦🏽‍♀️ lord give me strength😂
im expecting a decline also, im prepped for tribunal but really don’t want to go😭

Are you New Claim or MR?
You should be very close if New Claim.
They seem to be working on first week of August this week...and end of last week.
Mine was 31/07 decision made last Thurs.

I’m going through renewal too but it’s not due to end until 28th April next year so I’ll leave it until 2 weeks before if I haven’t heard anything. I think with renewals it’s easier because it needs to be sorted before the award end date.

Argghh. Still with a DM just like Friday. Feeling very anxious now 🥺
