Another day another wait 🫠seeing a fair few August dates after mine so a bit hopeful. Or is that just wishful thinking??

SnappyHam · 17/12/2024 09:02

Hey all, been following all your progress and lurking here for the last 8 weeks... Now my date is approaching soon hopefully I am joining the chat!
NC SD 20/8
I reckon it will be mid Jan for me but excited to see a few august claims being handled, not gonna ring until I pass 20 weeks though. Mega good luck KC1999 & Chels2020 and any other July dates. Rooting for you! 🙌

I have just called. Got through rather quick. The man on the phone said a decision was made on the 4th December. I asked what the award was and he’s told me to wait for a letter. Would this still be HRC and HRM do you all think? I am surprised the claim has been done so fast x

Ring again and ask to be put through to someone who is able to tell you. It’s not normally a problem. When was your SD?

Wow that is quick! Are you in England? I know other places are dealing with them much quicker? I would call back and ask.

I am on hold currently trying to see if my extra evidence has been scanned on, I hate when the music stops and it sounds like someone is going to answer but no it just cuts the hold voice off and goes straight back to music.

Reebee777 · 17/12/2024 09:36

I’m based in North East Lincolnshire. I posted my forms on the 5th of November in the free post envelope. Got the letter dated 3/12/24 saying they received them on the 20/11. Even the letter said up to 15 weeks. So I was really mentally prepared for a long wait x

SKB12 · 17/12/2024 09:38

Chels2020 · 17/12/2024 08:20

They scanned my evidence under my national insurance number so only been added to my sons yesterday when a lady told me to ask them to check under me as it got there Wednesday 6am should have been scanned that day but never the less we found it 🤣🤣 and it’s now where it’s suppose to be x

Wow good job you checked. Now it’s where it should be hopefully it’ll be sorted today

Just called and got straight through, NC SD 30/7 so 20 weeks today. Still no update and nothing on the system to say it’s been looked at or with anyone yet. The wait is just soul destroying!

Mine is a renewal x

Rags2Richards · 17/12/2024 10:23

I know realistically I still have a wait as my scan date is 22/08. I thought well why not just ask the question so I made the old text message excuse even though the last time I rang the lady told me I was down for a text. The guy I spoke to said it’s not with a decision maker it’s in the queue. They are working on beginning of August claims now so he said I have about 2 weeks to wait. I take all this with a pinch of salt though. He said he has now put a note on for text. I thought I was already down, but just played along 😂

Oh my Goodness!!!! Oh my Goodness!!!!! I think we have been awarded!!!!!!!! Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!

Scan date 17/7. I checked my emails when I woke up (as I do every morning!) and an email said “your Clearpay payment for £18 has gone through”. Nononononononono, my child benefit went in today (£25.60) and it was all we had for food until next Tuesday (and my daughter has ARFID), so that leaves us with £7.60 for a week’s food. I check my bank balance and there is more than £7.60 in there, with a reference of HN(numbers)DW!!!

I can afford food, I can get her some Christmas presents, oh my God!!!!!! I am absolutely over the moon!!!!! They believed me. After years and years of doctors and paediatricians and GP’s telling me that “there’s nothing wrong” (despite the clear facial deformities and the hypotonia and the heart murmur and the tiptoe walking and the failure to thrive and the ASD) I was taken seriously. The relief, argh!!!!

Do NOT give up hope!!!! I was full-on 100% expecting a mandatory reconsideration. I was already starting to gather evidence for one, and we were awarded.

Ahhh this is amazing!! 😍 🙌🏼 So so happy for you! Congratulations! 🎉
