Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

I think I will call and ask them? Are they shoving WMs ones to one side something not right 😳

Someone on Facebook has only just had theirs go to a decision maker at 22 weeks. I think I have another couple of weeks to go

I honestly think they are. It seems us from the West Midlands aren’t getting decisions the way others are😂😂

I’ve absolutely no idea it’s a right mess! Anyway I got an email sent while I was on the phone and had that printed out tonight so I’ve got the missing letter waiting on schools now if I haven’t got that tomorrow lunch time I’ll ring and ask for it printing also and I’ll go collect it and get it sent off x

School are useless I emailed mine 3th for the sen report and still. Nothing from them good job I had it myself or woudk still be waiting for it off them...
Yeah go demand it lol it will take 5 mins of there time before you collect little one(s) lol.
I've checked the royal website and my letters is at Sheffield sorting office now

My letter from school was posted out Friday the teacher said waited a week for her to gather everything from the class teachers my son is high school hoping it’s enough but we shall see when I finally receive it 🤣🤣 fingers crossed this delivery works and you get a decision by Friday im hoping letter comes tomorrow if not I’ll be asking for a print out and I’ll go collect it it’s only 15 mins away from me

Whatever happened to emails? 😂 the letter I got was emailed which I printed and sent and got a copy in the post today. They need not have bothered with how brief it was. I spoke to sons plan co she said her line manager was working with the school which I was unaware of, maybe that’s rubbed them up the wrong way. Nothing to do with me I’m sure every pupil there has an EHCP

They do, it has to be done over the phone though if I’m not mistaken

I do believe there is something in it. Unless I’m mistaken none of the ones that have been done much earlier than expected are from the WMs. Oh well will give them a call to have a morning chat with DM 😅

Same has me 18/07 dm rang me 4th wanting sen report from school do had to send all that off did this on the 4th will be there tomorrow afyer sending it again special delivery today has first one got lost somehow when rang today to give them the tracking number she said ring back Thursday and should have descion by Friday .... x

I know what you mean. I’m not even expecting it to be assigned until the new year now but I’d like their thoughts on the postcode lottery 😂

I dread them contacting school. It’s like they don’t want to say anything remotely helpful pretty sure he’s in a specialist setting for a reason lol
