Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

currently we are in July for decisions! xx

@Kc1999x i spoke to my sons taxi office. They are going to do a statement, his chaperone said to ask them. She’s more helpful than school!

Called this morning I got through quite quickly. Sd 2/8 no decision she said the decision should be made by the 20th December.

That’s brilliant! Fair play to the chaperone for helping you out the best way she could. The more evidence the better🙏

Yeah she’s lovely. She doesn’t have an understanding of his needs like school do yet she’s more helpful and cares about him. That’s literally the last bit of evidence I’ll be sending in then over to tribunal if needed. Have you called today? I haven’t the heart to listen to the same story each time 😂

I was going to, got back from the school run like 20 mins ago but can’t be bothered😂

It’s nice when we find people that care about our kids and don’t just see it as a job!

😂 I can’t either they are just going to say it’s waiting to be assigned. I did want to ask what date they are doing now but even then it’s not accurate is it 😅

After a long 19weeks I called yesterday and they told me that my 6year old has been awarded but they can’t tell me over the phone wait for the letter but today I got back pay in my account I think is MRC and LRM suspected ASD and walking impairment only evidence sent was referrals and letter and teacher fill her part on the form and physiotherapy letter .

I was thinking about phoning back today to see what they say but got little one at home so think ill

I hope so! I am fed up of waiting now and that’s if she was even telling the truth and it was assigned and not just telling me anything she feels needs be x

Honestly I’m so disappointed with school. They know full well how he struggles whole reason he’s even with them. Intervention plan mentioned Monday, haven’t received a thing from them. No excuse

Yes, I’m on 3 different ones😂 I’ve seen 16,17,18,19,20th July all done this week. But then there’s still some people from the beginning of July waiting

A decision was made yesterday for my daughter on hold waiting to hear the decision give them a call x

I feel like giving his teacher one. I’m wondering if that’s also why my son doesn’t like going in. If she’s giving him the same attitude he won’t cope well with that 😕 I’m biding my time until the next annual review and will be letting the plan co know not only am I fighting for my son with the likes of DWP but with his own school too, could’ve just sent him mainstream in that case!

That’s got to be Scotland? There is no way they can justify skipping July August and September NCs here
