Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

Was it a renewal? What page was it on? X

Can anyone tell me if I got awarded yesterday morning when I will see the backpayment in my bank?

it could for a few reasons. Child is severely blind. The child has less than 12 months to live. Or they were put on the priority list for financial hardship - ive seen this one ruffle some feathers on previous threads but you cant just call and be deemed as priority. You can call and ask, explain the situation and then DLA decide whether to bump you up the queue. It wont be granted for the childs needs costing too much, or things like needing to move house the child lives in. Or it’s none of them and they just got really lucky!

Just recived a draft ehcp can this be attached and send for dla scan date was 04/07 as the needs are qutxlear in ehcp but mostly around toileting feeding and relationship building and how much education support he needs so Just wonderin if the draft send along with the ehcna file list send my la would be good enough as I didn't really mention all the care needs in depth but did put short pointers as his needs are more then normal bur didn't want to over exaggerate more than they were has anyone got awarded this way.

I think I saw in the comments that they are in Northern Ireland and I believe they have a much shorter wait time than us right now, I could be wrong

Possibly! I didn't actually read the comments. Don't get me wrong I'm over the moon for anyone who's getting seen to quickly, I was just shocked at how out of sync they seem to be doing it all x

28th June SD, phoned Monday and was told it wasnt with a DM

Woke up this morning and can see backpay pending for tomorrow, i work it out at HRC and LRM 😭😭 im so happy for my boy!

Aww congrats I’m sd 1/7 rang tues was told no decision made not much else then last night missed a call and got a text at same time saying awarded, going to call at 9 to confirm but feels it’s real with the call at same time. They Seemed to have been working late to catch up 😍

My SD is 1/7 I called Monday with nothing new to add im gonna call this morning to I think I usually call on a Monday but worth the call with the scan dates so close being awarded. So happy for you xx

I was hoping you saw my comments hun, they didn’t seem to want to say much to me when I called I didn’t even know if was with a decision maker, I would it was after 6pm when they called me, aww thank you I feel so happy it’s been a fight for my boy for the past 7 years to get him any support and now it’s coming all at once, I didn’t even think to apply earlier sending you all my love and positive prayers for a positive answer today xx

Finally! Woke up to back pay in my account 🙌 SD 25/06, called Monday to be told a decision still hasn’t been made, to call back on 12th. So they must have made the decision later that day. No text or anything, looks like MRC and LRM for my 8 year old. All I sent as evidence is his ADHD diagnosis report. The huge sigh of relief this morning could probably be heard by our neighbours! Really rooting for everyone still waiting, I hope you guys get the outcome you’re looking for and deserve 🫶

I’m on here everyday scrolling through! I will give them a call at 9am it’s worth a try if not another week won’t hurt after the wait. Honestly so pleased your boy has finally got what he deserves!! Here’s to hoping to loads of positive posts and everyone gets the decisions they deserve 👏🎉

Awwww you’re so kind. I’m so overwhelmed with all the support from this lovely group ☺️. The teacher said she’s more than happy to fill it on once she receives it. That’s unless I’m celebrating little ones 21st when the forms arrive 🤣 x
