Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month 💐

we currently in the early weeks of June for decision, please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful time.

wait time are currently between 20-25 weeks. However most likely is between 18-22 weeks.

SD 24/6 after the way I was spoken to yesterday I won’t be calling again till week 20 I cried when I got off the phone I suffer with depression and high functioning anxiety so little things set me off . I swear they have morning meetings and say right these are the lines we are using today tell them nothing ! maybe should not put 15 weeks on letters and say could take up to 25 weeks anyways good luck to all of use with June dates hopefully a miracle will happen and they work a little faster lol

I’m going with brush off because that’s the mood I am in 🤣🤣
I just want to say to them you know we all know that others are finding out after our scan dates so can you please pull your finger out! Not sure that would go down too well 🤣

It really is annoying because my friends renewal for her son was done and dusted in 6 weeks!!!

To ask about the night time needs. I think I messed up the form. It was so complicated the way it was all broken down. Like settle resettle supervise ect.

I don't understand the dates. Seen some July and August ones been awarded, yet people are still waiting from June and being spoken to like they shouldn't have phoned. I know different decision makers will have different workloads and speeds of working, but surely they should be working through these claims in an order rather than all over the place.
They just seem to say anything when people phone up.

I’m not sure how accurate this is but when I rang and asked them to send me the text, the man I spoke with said that everybody receives a text but sometimes the system glitches and the text doesn’t go out. But he said everybody should receive one and that you don’t have to ring and ask xx

I was told that once a decision is made it automatically generates a text, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I got one with my previous claim in March and that was 17 weeks then. I’m 19 weeks tomorrow x

I agree - don’t think I have seen any on facebook who are left before that date either.
I really hope they arnt refused too I don’t know that I have the fight left in me to argue with anyone else 🤣 having to go through tribunal for an EHCP as well 😞

Oh that’s so tough. Is yours with a DM yet? I’m trying to be positive and think that if it was a no, they would have made the decision before 3 days.

When I rang Tuesday they said they didn’t know if it was with a DM as they didn’t have access?

How odd. I’ve been told every time since Tuesday that it’s with one and one lady even said the DM was a she.

Still here from the 20th June, hoping for some kind of update soon! Rang Monday and all I was told was it’s taking 20 weeks which takes it to Thursday next week, hoping we all hear something soon

This is what I am saying I think they make it up as they go along - can’t be bothered to have a look to see if it is so just say they can’t see?

The Decision maker said the decision will be made today and you will know in 7-10 days. I'm still going to ring later at closing to see if I can find put. Can't wait for another week knowing there's a Decision. Do you think tgey will tell me on the phone?

The decision is made while you are on the phone if you ring up they will be able to tell you the outcome

Little one’s behaviour is crazy this week because she genuinely doesn’t understand why she’s not at school this week, even though I’ve tried explaining. She doesn’t get it at all and she’s so disregulated. So with that and the wait, I feel like I’m going mad! X

Just called to add more information. Wish I was told this the beginning of the week….they’ve written to the school to get a report from them. So obviously won’t be this week and probably not next 😔. At least now I know and can just try and put it at the back of my mind for a bit.

Does a COC create a whole new award or is it awarded on the remaining award period you have left on claim if accepted? Does that make sense, if anyone has done a coc and knows x
