Just rang and pressed 1523 options as a pp had said. Much more helpful was told yesterday that they can’t see what’s going on 😒 today told it’s with a dm now 😬 scan date 15/05

Ruelzdontapply · 20/09/2024 12:13

I called today just to see if they have actually received the extra evidence that I sent in and they haven't. I really starting to get fed up royal mail don't seem to be able to deliver the extra evidence I've 2 tracking numbers and neither have been delivered.

Week 19 today of MR, phoned for a update, lovely lady answered said it's not yet been assigned to a DM but it's at the top so should be with one within the week.
I needed to update her with some recent changes and she was very helpful. Fingers crossed I hear soon

Samc1981 · 20/09/2024 14:33

Hi does anyone know what I do about universal credit ?? Do I need to ring them to tell them I now get dla for my child so I get the top up or will they just amend thanks

MammaT7 · 20/09/2024 16:36

We got our forms today to do a MR, is says on the form we can call as it's easier, is it better to fill the forms out and have them sent off? Any tips on anything would be extremely grateful x

SD 10/05

Called today to check my progress, told a decision was made on Monday 16/09 and I need to wait for a letter in the post.

I've had nothing in the bank and no text message, is it likely we've been refused?

They say 3-5days for payment, so if nothing yet it can still appear Monday, but I would ring again and ask to be transferred to someone who can tell you more about the decision

Vicclou · 20/09/2024 18:03

Scan date 21/05

I called earlier, he said still in the queue but the near the top of the queue. So hopefully not much longer. Just so nervous as I didn’t have to much evidence to provide.

Loulou12321 · 20/09/2024 18:34

Another week over, let’s hope us mid/end May scan dates hear something next week!

Hesxboon · 20/09/2024 18:54

Do dwp ever text on a weekend? Just wondering as was told with a dm this morning and now I’m worrying as I’ve no text so thinking it been declined 🙃

İ think a lot of people never get texts and some people have theirs with a DM for days or weeks, so I wouldn't worry too much until next week, if that helps ? :)

EdPowell · 20/09/2024 19:27

P/w received 13/03
Denied 29/04
M/R opened 7/5

My MR is 10/7, hopefully not long for us, when I put my MR in I was told I'd hear by 15 weeks which would have been 23/8 but then it changed to 25 weeks. I'm 19 weeks today so hopefully not long now x

Lil1234boo · 20/09/2024 21:28

That a nice length award you won't need to worry about renewal for a long time.

MrsW12 · 22/09/2024 08:36

Hi all. So I looked up the requirements for the care element of DLA and the child needs to have either more personal care needs than average, or are a danger to themselves or others. I can’t see my little one getting it for personal care because she’s 4, but she is quite aggressive toward her baby sister and is completely unaware of dangers. Especially in public.

Spat77 · 22/09/2024 09:12

Hi, me again🙈 we had an appt with continence team Friday, my daughter has now been put on another 2 medications. ( 4 in total now)can I phone to let them know or will it be best if I send off a copy of her updated repeat prescription list? Thankyou😌

Aww thank you. My 11 year old is entitled because she needs support with personal care quite a bit still. It’s such a horrible wait is it it x

Yes,the wait is really hard
My son is 3 and I know it's hard ,most expecially when they are under 5.
We have done our best. We just have to wait and pray the decision makers see things through our own perspective when they read those forms😊.
Fingers crossed for us x

Thankyou, I will do both😌. The continence nurse is also sending her school a care plan out that she is requesting they follow. She’s Said they may listen with it coming off her and she will be sending me a copy of it as well incase the school don’t follow it. Xx
