Hi all, scan date 5 of June.

however only received one letter no texts or anything, called this morning for first time and told it was in a priority pile with DM.

anyone else with scan date same as mine?
well done to everyone awarded 🙌 and fingers crossed for those who’s decisions should be any day now x

@Matthews89 did you send much evidence? My daughters school will not help if they contact them as she only shows a small amount in school x

SD 20/05. Called today to check they had received additional evidence that we posted off last week. They confirmed they received it and the status is currently 'open' which means it's with a DM 😬

I've just rang. Wish I hadn't.. no change so on to a MR now

I sent 2 sets of extra evidence since August and Royal mail have failed to deliver them no idea why.
I sent recorded so I know they have not been delivered.

Yes i sent everything try phoning them

SD 10/05

Called today to check my progress, told a decision was made on Monday 16/09 and I need to wait for a letter in the post.

I've had nothing in the bank and no text message, is it likely we've been refused?

From what I've seen, people are saying they usually get a back pay on Wednesday or Friday, so I wouldn't necessarily worry.

I think DLA use BACS, so 3-5 working days usually.

You can phone and ask if you can be put through to someone who can tell you though.

Did they say when you would get back pay ? I got text this morning to say my son qualifies just not sure when I will get backdated pay thanks x

Please keep faith 🙏 I was really expecting a decline as it was with DM for so long, and i felt the same as you like there was something they didnt want to tell me over the phone, also last week i was told it was still with DM but that i would recieve a letter this friday 🤔 so i thought definitely a decline and he doesnt want to say, I was going to wait to ring but I couldn't help myself and rang today, DD was awarded yesterday! I really wasn't expecting it and was preparing myself for a MR, so there is still hope 🤞 give them a ring when you get 5minutes chase it again hopefully yours is a successful outcome too and you can get your baby the things that they so need and deserve to help ❤️ also I did request a text message but didn't receive one, good luck praying for you 🙏

5/6 mine has been with the decision maker since this morning.

Oooh that's exciting, mine is 03/06 so I'm hoping that means we will all find out soon as most of us here atm are May and early June.

I send my forms off 28/5. Sure I was told my scan date was 5/6. Got a phone call on the 11/07 saying it was with a Dm.when I last phoned for an update it was still with dm going to wait until 17 weeks before I call again. I'm not sure my son will be awarded as he is still waiting for assessment and his school was the only support we had. We have moved so he hasn't been in school for a few months now only just got him into a new one hopefully he starts next week.

İt all seems to be so random and confusing doesn't it. My scan date is 03/06 but when I called a couple of days ago it was still in a queue to see a decision maker. Perhaps they have different DMs for different ages or conditions, that would be the only explanation I can think of. Or perhaps some DMs take on a higher caseload at one time and perhaps some a part time or something.

SD 23/5. 17 weeks today. Anyone around this time been awarded yet? Im so anxious.

It does, hopefully yours gets with a dm soon.how old is your child? Mine is 5. It seems like the caseload and how fast some get through them, it may depend on how fast they get their information needed for the applications too. fingers crossed we'll all get a decision quite quickly and we're not made to wait much longer.

I'm 20/05, and a DM is currently looking at the claim.

They sold me on the phone yesterday our decision was made on the 17th, and happily told us it was denied. So don't lose faith if they didn't tell you no, who knows

haven’t heard anything yet and I haven’t called as looking at other posts it’s all different. Seen people before our scan dates still waiting and also seen scan dates after had texts.

its a horrible waiting game unfortunately. I had 1 letter saying date it was scanned and said 15 week wait but it’s really hit and miss I guess with how fast DM works.

i will be honest I’m feeling anxious now and just want to be able to better support my daughter with her needs
