Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’m starting a new claim, I called them on 27th Sept to request a form and it’s not arrived, I chased today and was told I should have received and they will send a new form, but it will have todays date and not the date of my original request. I was told I can add a note about the original request date and they will look into when they receive my form.

has anyone else experienced this? Also would I be better off to fill in the form I can print of their website and put a note about my 2 calls?

Assuming the second form that will be sent out will give you a new scan date as when you send it back. Calling for the form is important as they will back pay the 4 weeks of waiting for you to complete the form. Without calling for the form you miss out on the backpay meaning you just receive payment from your scan date. I know it is frustrating having a new form sent out but this will ensure you get backdated backpay. If that makes sense. DLA have a few instances were they say they sent out forms and haven’t or they don’t send renewal forms etc. them leaving a note is good as the DM who looks at your claim might backpay to the first Encounter however this is at their discretion.

Just thought I'd say hi, my scan date is 4th september. So not that far before yours.

Someone said it’s how you send it with what order they process them,apparently if you pay for postage they look at those claims quicker 🤷🏽‍♀️

Yes heard last Monday 21 weeks into the MR, we were awarded HRC and LRM after our initial decline in April.
So so pleased and still doesn't seem real xx

I've never requested a form I've always printed the form and sent that.

Can I ask why you was originally declined ? X

It’s good to see someone with a similar scan date. I know it’s going to be a few months yet but I’m going to be staying active on these threads and posting if I hear anything

I paid for postage and seen dates awarded after my date (03/06) for new claims, so I don't think it's that.

Same. 04/06 for us and no update yet.

Any COC in June or end of May? I'm 7/06 and still no news

I am still waiting for COC scan date 11/06. I’ve not called since August to check they got extra evidence I sent. Might call them for an update next week x

i'm 13th June, was told yesterday with a DM. Does anyone know how long DM normally take to make a decision? Going silently crazy waiting!

My last one was a day. Call back and ask if you can have a text when they’ve made a decision. That’s what I did and got it a few hours later

I asked for a text but never received one when I got awarded in May, the payment will be faster then the letter as that's usually about a week from when they send it where as money will be 3-5 days

Mommyp95x I just rang to check if they had my number correct as I've never had any text from them, he said sometimes they text, some people get no texts, it's just the way it is. Not very helpful, but at least I know they have my number right 😂

same here and i only called yesterday- i'd just like to see if it's moved out of the queue.

rang this morning to say I have more evidence to send and I tried to explain to the lady that I was advised last time it takes 6weeks to scan it in and it did in fact take 6 weeks so should I still send it and she said yes?
but I am worried she did not understand what I was saying but will I look mad ring twice in one day?
