31/5 here too ….. I was told the same, it’s so horrible waiting isn’t it 😔 especially when I'm
seeing some June dates getting their decisions, it makes me so on edge every day.

I’m 12 days after you, New claim.

Please keep the thread updated if you hear anything.
What dates have you seen be awarded from June?
I’m not holding my breath to hear anything before at least November 🙈

P/w received 13/03
Denied 29/04
M/R opened 7/5
not told when they received paperwork but got letter on 10/7 saying it can take 15 weeks, phoned on 18/09 and been told it's now 25 week wait
Is any else feeling they are just being messed around??

Same here, was originally told 15 weeks, now 25. Just sent back recently so I'm I'm for the long haul x

@bolopast when are you calling?? I received back pay today so it's all a bit more real now xx

I just called, apparently we've now been assigned to someone..so yay if thats true, we've moved forward a wee bit 🤣
The options have changed now and it says press if you have been waiting for over 25weeks! I asked if they are now expected to take longer and he said there is a possibility now new claims and MR can be over 25weeks 😖

I worry alot too u know,.even when I tell myself am not going too.
I have never been so worry and anxious like this before. Not even when I was younger and waiting for my GCSE or my driving licence so many years ago.
It's really weird to feel this way even when I know I still have another chance (MR) If I was declined.
It's just so hard to think of something else when am alone 😅
So I feel what u mean lovely xx

Oh bless you. I can’t believe how stressful this is. I think it’s because the wait is so damn long! X

Waited 19 weeks, son under physiotherapy team and consultant for hyper mobility and knee dislocation, has multiple dislocations a week, have referral letters, exercise regimes, appointment letters, MRI appointment with possibility of surgery and we were declined. Awful reasons for decline- he can find his way around and is safe on the road, he can put his own knee brace on and he does not get injured. NOT INJURED. I’m gobsmacked

Any tips for MR guys? I’ve been trying to research it and the statistics are not the greatest to win appeal. Feel like I’m fighting a losing battle and haven’t got much fight left in me either. I’m in disbelief, sent numerous appointment letters proving the input from consultant and physio, sent sleep diary, input in school and was shot down.

Mines for change of circumstances, not a new claim. My son has been awarded for a number of years already. Although, just to give you some hope, my son was 1st refused on new claims when we very first applied. He was not diagnosed at the time but I sent in all proof of his medical needs at that time. We were completely rejected. I sent in a letter and asked for a mandatory reconsideration, and was then awarded high rate care and low mobility. We didn't have to go to tribunal. Was such a relief. Hang on in there, if you believe your child has more needs of an average child of the same age, then keep fighting. Yes it's depressing and heartbreaking having to fight for your child's need and to be believed, the paperwork makes you look at the worst you're child does, not the best and it really does hurt your heart but keep going! The fight for support is worth it and it opens more doors for them.. Good luck 👍

Hey everyone! Long time follower but first time I am posting. My scan date isn’t until 03/07 but I have just received this letter from the school. They are sending it themselves but I just wanted to ask if you feel this is a good piece of evidence please. Thank you!
