They tend to decline children under 7 for ADHD testing. Oh did you mean the referral was made in 2023? Under 7 children although can have ADHD they don’t want to diagnose to early as they believe it can settle down, this is what I’ve told by various health care professionals when I asked about my under 5 year old. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t have it they just don’t want to officially diagnose. You can still make a claim if you have other evidence but you can’t state my child has ADHD as it’s not diagnosed.

This is true they dont tend to diagnose Adhd til after 7 years old.

Had a rubbish day at today and just received a text saying he QUALIFIES FOR DLA! I’m over the moon. Don’t know what rate yet but I’m just so relieved as I’d convinced myself it would be a no.

Scan date 16/5 not heard anything either. Asked for evidence from the school last week. Still in this waiting game!

@Vicclou no not yet but we’ve been away this week - no text or anything. We are back home today hoping I don’t arrive back to a decline letter. I’m tempted to call up today seeing our dates come up alot now! Xx

No I gave them a call to see if there was any update, they told me they had sent a report out to the school the day before. I wouldn't have known otherwise.

Yes, that's what I meant. I didn't know that was the case. Only other evidence I had was things he had from his previous school and an assessment he had while there just hope its not going to affect my claim

So that's 23 weeks (£2331÷23=£111) £111 a week so that's MRC and LRM

We’re pretty much same date. I sent mine on 11th and then received and scanned it all on the 12th and I received confirmation letter on 18th. I rang before the letter came and she told me I’m looking at middle of Jan which would make it 18 weeks. I’ve been counting day every day. 2 weeks in, 16 to go. Even though it’ll probably end up being delayed im still going to count down 18 weeks 🤣🤣

Just called for a update. Still not with a DM 🙄 he kindly reminded me of the 25 week wait for the MR,I felt like saying I've been waiting since January 🤣🤣 I'm week 20 tomorrow.
I'll be calling again Monday 🫣🫢

I just called week 15 today scan date 13/06 I was told it will go to DM the end of October and I should hear end of October/early November

Same here, called this morning, still not been looked at and again told not to call, wait for a letter, they are taking 25 weeks 🙄

Can I ask for those on MR, are they for new claims that got rejected or for wrong rates etc? X
