I doubt it 😭 but even if we did get a text we still won’t know the decision until Monday. Ahhh we have to try and forget for the weekend- been with DM since 21/06 what’s going on

I no hun. Its so hard to just forget about it because theres so much riding on it. They must be understaffed surely because these wait times are really awful xx

Mhow · 29/06/2024 09:12

@Shazzle88 there’s just such a difference for me between MRC & HRC (my son is 3 so won’t get mobility) really hoping my DM is fair and gives him what he deserves (and same for you🀞🏼) my eldest got rewarded LRC no mobility (8 with AdHD) and I think that’s fair for him so really hoping they make the right decisions for us all. Have a good weekend, let me know if you hear πŸ₯°

I totally agree hun. What did you send for evidence if you dont mind me asking xx

For 8 year old AdHd- was referal forms completed by school (quite detailed) his ISP from school
for 3 year old ASD (one I’m waiting for) was x2 Speech and language reports (he’s non verbal)
Referral forms for OT, paediatrician, and dietary people (?) and written updates from myself- he’s been referred to LEAP and his nursery completed the people who know bit.
i don’t think I went into enough detail of his lack of sleep at night and how bad his meltdowns can be but I can’t do anymore now. It’s so hard without a formal diagnosis as at the moment just feels like words I’ve written if you know what I mean
what did you send hun? Xx

Shazzle88 · 29/06/2024 09:30

I no what you mean hun my daughter isnt diagnosed yet, youve send so much tho,i think you will get what you deserve. im really starting to worry about my forms now. Ive sent 2 x pediatrician reports, a support letter from health visitor and gp and an inconclusive autism assessment report, melatonin prescription and lots of extra pages that i have written xx

Mhow · 29/06/2024 09:43

@Shazzle88 you’ve sent loads too so really hope you get what you should. I think we’ve had soo much time to think about what we’ve sent no wonder we’re doubting it all!

PollyH3 · 29/06/2024 09:53

Really hope everyone can enjoy their weekends. I think the trouble is when you've just sent your form and you know it's months away you can just kind of forget about it. When it looks like our decisions should be any time now it totally consumes you. I'm so worried she won't get awarded, even though she definitely fits criteria for potentially HRC but definitely MRC.
We've got a busy weekend so I'm hoping it'll be enough of a distraction to not think about it too much!

Herecomestheson0106 · 29/06/2024 10:22

@Abbieh1234 I'm currently awaiting MR after originally applying in October and have been told it's 15 weeks. Originally I was told I'd hear back within 9 weeks, then I had a text to say 4 weeks, then a letter to say 15. I'm about 12 weeks into the wait so it's definitely looking like 15. Hopefully not any longer!

I sent his autism diagnosis report, his speech and language therapy report, his individual education plan report and his senco wrote on the form the part about who knows the child. I struggled with the form i am terrible with them so didn't think I had wrote enough down as I just filled the questions and sent in all his reports in that he has from difrrent professionals he sees.

Aussielover · 29/06/2024 13:40
